Re: [AI] Regarding recovering files from a corrupt copy of windows.

2014-03-21 Thread Naushad Charivilayil
Most of the time, we need to slipstream the drivers of our usb sound
device. Over last one and half years, I am working to solve some of the
major issues I encountered during my professional career. Even after
adding drivers to Win PE, sound card with complex structure will not
work. Some of the time, even USB sound card also failes work with newer
systems, because usb hub itself not supported with Win PE. In such case
we have to add necessary drivers of that particular system (chipset and
usb drivers) into Win PE image. Most of the time, this is not a
practical solution for a professional technician like me. Adding more
stuff into win PE will make it bigger in size and it will claim more
memory. The ultimate problem is, when we increase the size of Win PE, it
will not work with older systems with low memory.

Will it not work if I have a USB speaker or headphone?

Dear Legal experts,

I have got a sanction for a home loan, which can be covered through
various insurance providers amongst which includes Indiafirst.

If you take such insurance cover, your heirs do not have to pay the

But in my case though the Indiafirst executive is cooperative, he is
not sure of my application going through.

Thus, any circular by I R D A or other financial regulators may be

SO please share any such regulations or any other guidance in same

Nice to read this. At least this party thinks about us. Many parties in their
manifesto say a lot and do very little. It might not be possible for this party
to fulfill all promises. Still if it fulfills some of them then also we'll be
happy. As so called big nationalised parties are silent on our issues. Thanks.

*Persons with Disabilities*

The CPI(M) stands for:

   - Amending and passing the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Bill and
other laws in consonance with the United Nations Convention on Rights of
Persons with Disabilities taking into consideration various concerns
expressed by the disability sector. Reviewing and amending the National
   Disability Policy
   - Simplifying the process of certification. Providing a universally
valid Identity Card for the disabled that would be valid across states and

   - Clearing backlog in vacancies in all government departments in a time
   bound manner.
   - Making all buildings, public places, transport, information and other
   avenues fully accessible and barrier free for people with disabilities;
provision of sign language interpreters; making TV accessible for the deaf
and hard of hearing through same language captioning
   - Enhancing the pension to at least Rs. 4000/- for the disabled
   - Free provision of aids and appliances
   - Making education at all levels inclusive
   - Making Health facilities accessible and free for persons with

   - Extending the assistance under the MPLADS fund to other assistive

5. If your sound card is supported,NVDA will start automatically.
6. After loading Win PE, you can remove your cd/dvd from the drive, and
you can insert your windows installation disk.
7. Start windows setup from your windows installation disk.

Please note, Win PE is a scale down and live cd of windows operating
system to repair and install windows, or recover files from corrupted
windows. Your sound card may not be supported because Win PE may not
have necessary drivers included for your sound card. If you are a
service technician, the best choice will be to purchase a generic USB
sound card, and slipstream necessary drivers for your generic sound card
into your Win PE image using windows aik. To make a customized Win PE
with NVDA included, please contact me to my personal email.

no.
the drive letter x is associated with the virtual drive of win pe.
so look for any drive letter other than x.
regarding devices not working.
dont install windows from the win pe itself.
after your system is fully started up and nvda starts.
remove what ever is on your pendrive and copy the folders of the
windows that u want to install.
from your windows iso
after just run setup.exe and it will start installing.
winpe doesnt have drivers for all required hardware.
its a slimed down version of windows with just the basic kernel
and boot requirments and normal windows files without drivers for most
of the 3rd party hardware

Re: [AI] about computer monitor magnifiers

2014-03-21 Thread Sagar Sodah
Hi,

I am not sure if actual hardware magnifiers help much. Software magnifiers
definetly help along with color invert functionality.

Windows 7 and 8 and Mac oS X have very decent magnifiers built in. You can
also use ZoomText alternatively

Hi,
There is no need to hunt for CDs. You can download the drivers from HP and
Canon websites. HP also offers a feature to automatically detect the model
and select the best driver for it. Alternatively you can choose the model
and your operating system and download the required driver software.

You may refr to the following links.
