[AI] “Oliyum Oliyum " Tamil Movie in the making

2015-05-16 Thread avinash shahi
Following Sarabham, actor Salony Luthra took up an interesting film
that has a twin objective. “Oliyum Oliyum is about two visually
challenged characters who do not let their disability become a
hindrance to their lives. In fact, the character I play is that of an
independent girl who sells knick-knacks on the roadside. I spent a lot
of time actually doing it on the street to get into the skin of the
character. Although Oliyum Oliyum is conceived as a full-length
feature, we have currently completed a short version of it and plan to
release it as a promotional vehicle for eye donation. Simultaneously,
work will go on to complete the feature film too. The project is the
brain child of Arul Vincent, DOP, and Marks, the film’s director. It
features John, an actor from London, as my pair, who also plays a
visually challenged character,” says Salony.

[AI] Heavy rain floods houses in Ganapathy

2015-05-16 Thread avinash shahi
For A Subramani, a visually challenged man, who sells incense sticks,
said all the incense sticks got damaged in water. "I cannot go for
work today as I have nothing to sell," said Subramani. He said he had
been contacting corporation officials, the city mayor, and the ward
councilor since 4am but no help came. "Everyone said within a few
hours workers would come but no one turned up. We were almost done
cleaning up our houses, when workers came with machines to clear the
slush," he said.

Re: [AI] Chennai: Even after court order, coordination panel for disabled yet to materialise

2015-05-16 Thread avinash shahi
Of Course,we deserve representation!
This demand is more relevant cause the most of the parliamentarians
know nothing about legislations which deal with persons with
disabilities.

Re: [AI] Query for CC TV Camera system.

2015-05-16 Thread Pranav Lal
Hi Mahesh,

I can tell you that Dahua cameras are inaccessible. You may have better luck
with mainstream brands such as Cisco or net gear. Another option is to use a
program such as zoneminder which will allow you to control the number of cameras
with a reasonably accessible interface.

Re: [AI] how can get images from any vidio.

2015-05-16 Thread Pranav Lal
Do you want still frames or do you want to extract images displayed within the
video? If still frames, use the windows movie maker to brake a video into its
frames. Other programs do this as well.
