Re: [AI] problem in registering my residential property

2015-07-23 Thread Amar Jain
You can escalate the matter either to Registrar of Stamps in your
district, and the top most authority in Stamps Department of any state
is Inspector General of Registration.

Talk or drop an e-mail whichever way works better; otherwise shoot a
complaint through PGPortal by selecting the state and department (if
available). These are the only ways of getting prompt responses.

[AI] problem in registering my residential property

2015-07-23 Thread Sandeep Gautam
Dear Friends,

I made a deal of residential house in Greater Noida, U. P. April 2015 (under
resale from individual seller)

There is a circular of U. P. Governer providing rebate in stamp duty for
handicap persons of Uttar Pradesh purchasing residential property in U. p.

The registry office postponed my registery on the ground that this stamp duty
is not applicable here.

Further sub-registrar informed me on the date of submitting my property papers
to the registry office that he will refer my case to the higher authority for
clarification. And, registry will be done after clarification would receive
from higher authority.

Now it has almost 3 months spent and I have not received any written or legal
notice from the registry office or the higher authority regarding this.

All the friends and seniors (advocates or persons linked with legal line)
kindly urgently advise me what should I do so that, my registry can be done as
soon as possible.

Regards
Sandeep Gautam

2015-07-23 Thread Umesha S E
Mr. Rajesh,
Suppose I am boasting myself of being professor or master.
What about you? You do not have the patience to identify the
distinction between the concession certificate and the ID card even
after there is a significant discussion in the list on the matter. Was
there a need to say as if railways has outsourced the task of ID cards
to NFB? Did my post imply that? Couldn’t you have the understanding
that such a comments may hurt others while my way of addressing hurt
you? Does only persons like you get hurt and not others? Even after
understanding your misconception you couldn't ask excuse for it. Is
politeness needed only for some people?

You say railways may one day ask us to present before them naked.
Don’t you know some agencies are asking people not to laminate some
documents like passes to avoid tampering them? Are not they hasty
irresponsible comments?

Yes, I have to mind my way of addressing in future. But when will you
mind your way of ridiculing others by your hasty sharp comments?
You may restrain yourself from getting the card due to facilities you
are having. But others may desperately need it.

[AI] GIGW: Standards for ICT in Indian Government? Any policy?

2015-07-23 Thread Amar Jain
Dear List,

Guidelines for Indian Government Websites 2009 (GIGW) stated that
DEITY is working on standards for ICT in Indian Government. Pursuant
to that, has there been any policy on the same? And especially does
the policy prescribe any standards for documents (as GIGW mentioned)?

Any help will be deeply appreciated.

Regards,

Re: [AI] British pensioner first to have central vision restored through bionic eye

2015-07-23 Thread Vamshi. G
Hi Sazid,

At the moment, the Argus 2 is neither available in India nor
affordable for Indian patients. I think it costs around 50 lakhs(only
device, add surgery, training and travel). Trials are on to
manufacture an indegenious device affordable for Indians. However I
am not aware of the present status of such efforts.

[AI] Daily Eyeway Alerts

2015-07-23 Thread Eyeway Helpdesk
Dear Listers:

Greetings from the Eyeway Helpdesk!

Follow below the Daily Eyeway Alerts:

1. News-

The Bombay High Court Wednesday directed an expert committee set up by the
Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment to look into the issue of
quantification of learning disability (LD) in terms of percentage. The
committee has been set up to look into the Rights of Persons with
Disabilities Bill, 2014. The Bill will replace the Persons with
Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full
Participation) Act, 1995. “The expert committee set up by the Ministry of
Social Justice and Empowerment should consider the issue of the percentage
of learning disability,” said Chief Justice Mohit Shah and Justice A K
Menon. The HC said that the committee should consider this issue even if it
did not come under its existing guidelines. The HC was hearing a suo motu
public interest litigation by two psychiatrists. The PIL stated that on
March 25, parents of children with LD had received a letter from the
National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), saying students would not be
granted a writer, but would be granted extra time. The definition of a
person with disability is that he or she should be suffering from 40 per
cent disability. The state government had said that it could not give a
certificate to say whether persons with LD had less or more than 40 per
cent disability. More

Hello, Once you have downloaded the JPG attachment and opened it
insert+space+o+d. the In-built OCR utility will convert the image into

 Dear Umesha

You should carry any of the documentation, anyone which is taken as a
 valid

address proof document which carries the addresses you want to show.

The nearest office should be taken as from your present address.

If they are refusing, ask them to give it in writing and if possible
 record

 the conversation.
