[AI] Kindle for PC with Accessibility Pluggin: registration issue

2015-08-30 Thread Amar Jain
Hi All,

I have never read additional books in my life apart for fulfilling my
study needs. Somehow I am trying to start making it a habit to read.

I downloaded the Kindle App with accessibility pluggin, but I am just
not able to register. Have already seen previous e-mails on this list
and have not found the right answer so far.

I have also spoken with Amazon customer care, and they are equally
clueless about this app.

Any guidance will be appreciated.

Regards,

Good.
But, how to check proxy?

I don't think a blind teacher can remember individual voices of a couple of

I have in the past designed Excel templates with columns such as total days
absent, percentage present etc. for school teachers and college professors.
They are using it successfully for many years now.
They print the sheet and sign and submit to the authorities when required.
One such format can be downloaded from the link given below. if the link
does not work on clicking, then please carefully copy and paste the link
text in browser.

You mark attendance by typing P or A and the rest is calculated by the
formulas. To change dates you can use the Fill feature of Excel.

Thanks,
Prashant

Re: [AI] CCPD!

2015-08-30 Thread vivek doddamani
it is true no work is happening proper in Disabled Commission since
after the retire of Sir Pincha & Dhariyal recently I had filed a
complaint regarding IRCTC ID card for disabled person in CCPD through
mail I had scand receiving copy from DRM new delhi copy of medical
certificate & & last week I enquired through phone about my mail there
they replied there are many cases pending for hearing & could not
reply about my application when will my case be heard, if the same
continue we disabled person will never get justice, so NGOs should
take initiative to appoint new chief commissioner for disability, I
also heard Mr.Manoj Kumar FORMER CCPD is going to return back this
person does not know anything about disabled persons, we all should
take initiative to stop Mr.Manoj Kumar becoming CCPD.

 Dear All,

Mr Pincha retired in December, so did Mr Dhariyal. The Govt was aware
 that
the two of them would be retiring. It is amazing that we are now in
September almost and yet have no clue as to who is going to drive the
CCPD's functions. Mr Lov Verma, the Secretary of the Ministry is
 supposed
to have additional charge but not sure if he has the bandwidth in terms
 of
time and experience to handle the CCPD's job.

So where do we stand? Is there something we as disabled people should
 be
 doing?

Re: [AI] CCPD!

2015-08-30 Thread Mahesh Narasimhan
Dear George Sir,

I am forced to believe that the government says "equal opportunity"
but it is a violation of the rights as we are in minority hence the
government is just not bothered to look into it. We must try to bring
to the notice of media.

[AI] Interesting blog onIndianmusic

2015-08-30 Thread Harish
Friends
I came across this very interesting blog which is really a podcast on Indian
music by Rahul Deshpande. The narration is in Marathi, however it does not come
in the way of appreciating the music.
Presently there are 6 episodes which will keep growing.
Visit:
https://yarn.fm/podcasts/tags/190008-a-thought-experiment

Keep scrolling down and you will find the download links.

Harish.

Re: [AI] How to take student attendence in the class?

2015-08-30 Thread Prashant Verma
I have in the past designed Excel templates with columns such as total days
absent, percentage present etc. for school teachers and college professors.
They are using it successfully for many years now.
They print the sheet and sign and submit to the authorities when required.
One such format can be downloaded from the link given below. if the link
does not work on clicking, then please carefully copy and paste the link
text in browser.

You mark attendance by typing P or A and the rest is calculated by the
formulas. To change dates you can use the Fill feature of Excel.

Thanks,
Prashant
