But as her name was announced, she took her mother's help to reach the stage and accept the medal. Bhakti lost her eyesight at the age of five after suffering from a deadly eye cancer. She has undergone as many as 25 chemotherapies for treating the disease. However, due to her strong determination, she not only survived but has topped throughout her career so far. On Saturday, Bhakti was on cloud nine. A student of LAD College, she was awarded the Nagorao Narayanrao Wazalwar gold medal for topping in political science in BA first year. "I want to excel in all fields and realize my dream of joining the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) to serve the society. Bhakti didn't forget to give credit to Aditi Patwardhan, who has been associated with her since last four years and writing answers on her behalf. "It's not easy for a writer to understand what the blind person says and write accordingly. Without Aditi, it would have been difficult for Bhakti to excel," her mother says. [AI] xl not opening
hi, when i last used my XL on Friday, it hung while trying to send a report as an attachment. i tried everything to close it but it wouldn't. i force shut down my laptop and when restarted it again, XL wouldn't open and two days later, it still won't. the message says "couldn't send command to the programme." i am using Win 7 and Office 2007. any idea what i did to mess this whole thing up? this is my most used programme and it is essential i get it fixed at the earliest. thanks for any help here.
