We are pleased to announce design challenge competition @ EMPOWER 2018, an
assistive technology conference from Oct 25 - 27, 2018. Any student or
student team from any institution can participate in any one category of
this challenge. The challenge consist of four categories -

Challenge 1: Design of gifts/toys for autistic children
Challenge 2: Group-communication for hearing-impaired
Challenge 3: Beyond scribe
Challenge 4: Adaptive Chair

About EMPOWER 2018 -
The EMPOWER 2018 conference (25-27 October, 2018) is being organized to
bring together all stakeholders in the space of Assistive Technologies for
people with disabilities. This includes users, user organizations,
industries, special educators, inclusive designers, healthcare
professionals, entrepreneurs, policy makers and researchers engaged in
different ways with the issues involved in creation, production, and
dissemination of assistive technology solutions. This three-day event will
see the active participation of all stakeholders not only to discuss
current solutions but also to seed ideas to
work on future solutions.

Apart from exhibition, keynote talks, invited presentations, panel
discussions, posters, tutorials, and user forums the event would consist of
assistive technology design challenge for students on the last day of the
conference October 27, 2018 (Saturday). The venue for this challenge is
I-TEC Technopark, a conference and incubation center of IIT Delhi located
in the Rajiv Gandhi Education City in Sonipat. Students participating in
this event will also have an opportunity to listen to users of assistive
technology and work on new unmet needs.

We would like to request you to circulate it among your students.

If that is the case, all other Banks who are on FEBA (Finacle Should also have 
similar problems. What is the scene with other Banks on this product?

In the interim, would they be providing access to the old portal or do they 
expect, that you should suspend Banking for this period?

I think, based on the response to the first query, you can get back to your 
Bank with the next bout.

Bank has migrated the Internet Banking portal to new version i.e. FEBA (Finacle 
eBanking Application) on 11.06.2018. FEBA is a standard product for Internet 
Banking and standard product is not compatible for visually impaired users. 
Based on your request,  Bank has already initiated the process to enable 
accessibility of Internet banking portal to visually impaired users and it may 
take approximate 4-5 months to complete the development/testing.
