Re: [AI] Help requested for Pivot Table creation
Good Morning Mahesh Sir, What I wanted to let you know is that I had already tried the method for creating the Pivot table, you mentioned above. But when in the new worksheet, I am pressing the "F6"key to choose the fields, JAWS is saying "pivot table field list, press up or down arrow to choose the fields . ". Here pressing up or down arrow doesn't make JAWS say anything. so, here I get stuck. Please guide me how to proceed from this step. do I need to change any verbosity setting of JAWS in excel 2010? awaiting your kind reply Sir, Thanks and regards, Sudeshna Bhattacharya On 12/28/18, Mahesh Narasimhan wrote: > Hello Aravind and Sudeshna, > Good evening ! > > I read your queries. Re: [AI] Education
Rahul I agree. But my remedy is to foster special set ups at least at primary level, in order for children with disabilities to be equipped with relevant skil sets to operate in the non-inclusive world including schools at secondary level. Moreover thrusting small children in non-inclusive schools with the broader aim of making the schools inclusive would pit them against ruthless system, thereby marring their psychological growth, apart from compromising on their educational needs. -Original Message- From: AccessIndia [mailto:accessindia-boun...@accessindia.org.in] On Behalf Of Rahul Bajaj Sent: 22 December 2018 20:56 To: AccessIndia: a list for discussing accessibility and issues concerning the disabled. Re: [AI] For accessibility tester career option
Hi Mohit, With regards to IAAP Exams, there are 2 exams. I am also providing the link to the Body of Knowledge (BOK) which is a great place to start to prepare for the exams: 1. CPACC - https://www.accessibilityassociation.org/content.asp?contentid=356 2. WAS - https://www.accessibilityassociation.org/content.asp?contentid=458 If you do pass both the exams, you have the accreditation of CPWA. For an accessibility tester role, the WAS exam is what I would recommend. It is an exam, where you have to go beyond the theory and ideally should have working knowledge. BarrierBreak's office in Mumbai holds the proctored exams for people who would like to give the exam using assistive technology. You can see the dates at https://www.accessibilityassociation.org/certification#Exam%20Locations Hope that helps. [AI] Mindmapping for the blind
Friends, Often I stumble upon mindmapping advice (wherein you put your central idea in the middle and draw lines to the subordinating ones). Re: [AI] For english compitancy
This is really quite a difficult task for many of the people like you those are willing to be a good speaker of english. Try to improve your English vocabulary & ask your family-members & all of your close friends to talk with you in English language only. If you want to be a good speaker of english, then, try to make some good friends on skype either from England or australia. You can either talk or chat with them. You can search online friends in some other countries like phillipines, singapur & north American countries. It'll help you to understand their culture and some other important activities as well. It'll also be helpful for you to increase your English vocabulary, Good knoledge of spellings of words. It'll also be helpful for you to increase your typing speed but Please! don't make any argument with them on relegion & their social structure. - Original Message - From: "Mohit Gupta" To: "AccessIndia: a list for discussing accessibility and issues concerning the disabled." Re: [AI] For accessibility tester career option
dear amar, First, a candidate have to gain relevant knowledge in this domain perfectly. As per your suggestion I should go for deque. As per searching on google, I need to obtain - CPACC: (Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies). I would like to know whether IAAP - CPACC is sufficient or I will go for further any certification. I mean to say, which other certifications are available in this field.
