There is a universal solution for this if you use Latest version of Jaws.
Just press insert+space and f11. This is a toggle command for screen

Re: [AI] Help requested for Pivot Table creation

2018-12-30 Thread Sudeshna Bhattacharya
Good Morning Mahesh Sir,
What I wanted to let you know is that I had already tried the method
for creating the Pivot table, you mentioned above. But when in the new
worksheet, I am pressing the "F6"key to choose the fields, JAWS is
saying "pivot table field list, press up or down arrow to choose the
fields . ".
Here pressing up or down arrow doesn't make JAWS say anything. so,
here I get stuck. Please guide me how to proceed from this step. do I
need to change any verbosity setting of JAWS in excel 2010?

awaiting your kind reply Sir,

Thanks and regards,
Sudeshna Bhattacharya

 1. Open the excel file having the table on which pivot has to be
applied. This means that the table which has to be analyzed.
 2. Select the table.
 3. Press the Alt key, then right arrow to reach the Insert menu. There
press the down arrow; the first option is Pivot. Hit enter.
 4. A dialogue box would open and it would say, “Create pivot table,
select the table/range”. Kindly note, we have already selected the
table which has to be analyzed, here simply hit ‘Tab’ once and it
would say “New worksheet radio button checked”. Then hit ‘Tab’ till Ok
 and hit enter.
 5. A new worksheet would open and by default the curser would be in A3
cell. Do not worry! Press once the “Function key 6 (F6)”. Here all the
column heads would be placed one below the other. Then press down
arrow till you reach to the column head which you wish to keep as the
primary column (the first column). Then press the “Application key”.
Then down arrow and it would say “Add to row label”. There hit entre.
In A3 cell it would say “Row Label”.
 6. Then press F6 key and by default the curser would be on the column
head which you would have selected. There press down arrow or up arrow
as per your requirement and select the column head which you wish to
place next and press the application key, then the down arrow to add
to row labels and press entre. Continue this process till you have
short-listed all the column heads (except the last column head) that
you wish to have in the table which would be analyzed.
 7. Then you again press the F6 key and press the up arrow or the down
arrow which would be the last column of the table. Press the
Application key. Then press the down arrow till you reach “Add to
 Values”. There press entre.
 8. Then press the “Escape” key. Then press the “Alt” key and right or
left arrow till you reach “Design Tab”. There press the down arrow and
left arrow till you reach “Report Layout Submenu”, there hit enter.
There you press down arrow till you reach “In Tabular Form”, there hit
 enter.
 9. Your pivot Table is ready.

You try this first and there are more things to take care in pivot
table which I shall share in the next session.

 Enjoy learning!

 Thank you.

Re: [AI] Education

2018-12-30 Thread Asudani, Rajesh
Rahul I agree.
But my remedy is to foster special set ups at least at primary level, in order
for children with disabilities to be equipped with relevant skil sets to
operate in the non-inclusive world including schools at secondary level.

Moreover thrusting small children in non-inclusive schools with the broader aim
of making the schools inclusive would pit them against ruthless system, thereby
marring their psychological growth, apart from compromising on their
educational needs.

I agree about the primary schools idea, but I would submit that the solution
for noninclusive mainstream schools has to be to push for greater inclusion,
not to let them remain unaccountable for not being fully inclusive. At the end
of the day, the world in which we operate is also not inclusive in several key
ways, so why should children with single disabilities not be equipped with the
skills to operate in that world, by being in schools which are a microcosm
thereof?

Re: [AI] For accessibility tester career option

2018-12-30 Thread Shilpi Kapoor
Hi Mohit,

With regards to IAAP Exams, there are 2 exams. I am also providing the link to
the Body of Knowledge (BOK) which is a great place to start to prepare for the
exams:
1. CPACC - https://www.accessibilityassociation.org/content.asp?contentid=356
2. WAS - https://www.accessibilityassociation.org/content.asp?contentid=458

If you do pass both the exams, you have the accreditation of CPWA.

For an accessibility tester role, the WAS exam is what I would recommend. It is
an exam, where you have to go beyond the theory and ideally should have working
knowledge.

BarrierBreak's office in Mumbai holds the proctored exams for people who would
like to give the exam using assistive technology. You can see the dates at
https://www.accessibilityassociation.org/certification#Exam%20Locations

Hope that helps.

Re: [AI] For English compitancy

2018-12-30 Thread Pranav Lal
Hi Mohit,

You may want to try the app mentioned at the below link.
https://www.rosettastone.com/

Do not try to cram. You need to read books that you find interesting first
and then try apps like the above app. Etymology is the history of words.
That will not help you immediately.

As a step 0, please begin to spell check your posts.
Pranav

Friends,

Often I stumble upon mindmapping advice (wherein you put your central

folks do it with a pencil and paper or by using mindmapping software.
But how can we do the same?

Thanks in advance for your precious help

Re: [AI] For english compitancy

2018-12-30 Thread B. R. Nautiyal
This is really quite a difficult task for many of the people like you those
are willing to be a good speaker of english.
Try to improve your English vocabulary & ask your family-members & all of
your close friends to talk with you in English language only.

If you want to be a good speaker of english, then, try to make some good
friends on skype either from England or australia. You can either talk or
chat with them.
You can search online friends in some other countries like phillipines,
singapur & north American countries. It'll help you to understand their
culture and some other important activities as well.
It'll also be helpful for you to increase your English vocabulary, Good
knoledge of spellings of words. It'll also be helpful for you to increase
your typing speed but
Please! don't make any argument with them on relegion & their social
structure.

As per searching on google, I need to obtain -
CPACC: (Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies).
I would like to know whether IAAP - CPACC is sufficient or I will go
