[AI] Anybody Around Here Who Is Learning Python Or Who Is A Python Programmer Using JAWS Or NVDA?
Hello AccessIndia mates? How are you? Although I'm a visually impaired person, I'm able to view the computer screen using the High Contrast (Black) setting in Windows along with such mouse enhancements as the Windows Inverted system scheme and enabling the display of the pointer trail. I've in October 2018 completed the course Introduction To Computer Science & Programming Using Python offered by the MIT, one of the world's best institution of higher learning, through the web platform http://www.edx.org. During the winter holidays of January and February, I've begun upon the book Automate The Boring Stuff With Python by Al Sweigart and have so far reached Chapter 6. However, I've so far not used JAWS in this endeavor. Hence my query over here, which is as follows: How good a job does JAWS do in providing accessibility support to a visually handicapped (especially totally blind) Python programmer or learner of this programming language? >From the posts on that MIT course, I do remember now that, there was a >visually challenged person from India too, but I might not be able to track >him now. Hi Recently I got a new Del Inspiron laptop. I installed Jaws18 cracked version and NVDA. All applications seem to work fine but when I open Excel, Jaws does not read any content in the cells. Instead, it reads out the name of the cell (Row & column names) e.g., 1"a1", etc. In NVDA it is reading out fine whatever contents are there in the cells. Pls help. Hi, I don't know the reason but, the alt b shortcut is working for me on the firefox. Anyway, if you want to bookmark any page, just open the u r l example. www.google.com, and wait for the page loaded, once you see the page, just press ctrl d key to book mark the loaded or currently focused page. To access the bookmarks, you can use the alt plus b shortcut to directly go to the bookmarks menu, or press alt key to open the menu and use right arrow key till you reach the bookmark menu and press down arrow key to expand the bookmarks.
