secretariat, Mantralaya, has been arrested for allegedly cheating a
shopkeeper of Rs 2.5 lakh, by promising to help his visually challenged son
get a job in the corridors of power. The accused, Aavesh Gaikwad (43), had
been sacked from his job, said an official from Nirmal Nagar police station.
He had learnt that the son of a shop owner in Bandra (east), Vinit Gala, had
applied for a government job. "Gaikwad told him he could use his clout in
the department to better his son's chances of getting the job. To facilitate
the young man's early recruitment, he took the money," said the officer.
Gala learnt recently that Gaikwad had been sacked from his job as he often
bunked work, said the police. That's when he realised that Gaikwad had
cheated him. Deputy commissioner of police Anil Kumbhare said Gaikwad, who
has been charged with cheating, is in custody.

Instead app data, delete the Firefox folder from c:programme files 
And reinstall again.

RAILWAY’S PREPAREDNESS FOR CYCLONE “FANI”

South Eastern Railway is taking elaborate precautionary measures in
view of cyclone “FANI” with planned cancellation of trains to ensure
safety of the travelling passengers.

Sri P S Mishra, General Manager, S E Railway is personally monitoring
the situation and held high level meeting with all Principal Head of
Departments regarding railway’s preparedness to tackle any emergency
situation.

With a view to provide round the clock information to the public, BSNL
and Railway Phones have been provided at Kharagpur, Balasore and
Howrah for Disaster Helpline, numbers of which are given below:

Apart from this, special night patrolling at vulnerable locations have
been ordered till the cyclone period is over. Concerned railway staff
have been deputed with necessary equipments viz. tree cutting
machines, axes, 2.5 KV generators, empty cement bags, banner flags,
tri-colour torch etc. for day and night till the crisis is over. Motor
Trolley and Moped Trolleys have been kept ready at Rupsa and
Balasoreto attend any site in case of emergency. Railway staff have
been counseled to be extra vigilant to tackle any situation in case of
electrical wire (OHE) hanging, tree falling o­n track etc. for quick
restoration of train service. All essential and emergency staff have
been kept alert to combat the situation.

Three Special Trains have been provided to bring back the stranded
passengers from Puri towards Kolkata and bus services are being
arranged in co-ordination with State Government at terminals for the
convenience of the passengers who are returning from Puri.
