Webinar 1:

Webinar on Career Growth and Succession Planning by Sadaf Khan - 25 April
2020 Saturday, 4.30 pm

As very well quoted by Carlton Fisk "It's not what you achieve, it's what
you overcome. That's what defines your career."

NAB Delhi is pleased to present this webinar with Sadaf Khan. As a person
with blindness we often have questions like how to write a resume? How
should I crack the interview without the focus of the interviewer being on
my disability? What is the best way to dress up for the interview? And many
more.

To address many such questions on resume writing and managing interviews
group discussions, as well as succession planning nab Delhi brings to you a
session on career growth and succession planning.

About Sadaf: after completing her post-graduation in Industrial Psychology
from Mithibai College (Mumbai university), in 2017, Sadaf has been working
as a human resource professional. Currently Sadaf is working with one of the
largest multinational professional services firm across the world. She holds
over 2.5 years of experience in managing the entire cycle of talent
acquisition or recruitment which includes searching the write candidate
through job portals like Naukri.com, interviewing candidates, head-hunting,
talent mapping (identifying talent of a given skillset by company, job role,
or department across industry), creating dashboards, obtaining feedback and
releasing offer. She has been managing lateral recruitment for the financial
risk management as well as cybersecurity domains across India and the Middle
East region. She has also been involved in various activities undertaken by
her organization towards diversity and inclusion. She is passionate about
training and development and has been designing various training sessions
write from her college days on topics like team building and so on.

What you can expect:

Ways to build a presentable resume, dressing for an interview, appropriate
body language and importance of the posture in the interview, managing group
discussion and so on

Webinar 2

Legal Rights and Entitlements as a Person with Disability by Amar Jain - 24
April 2020 Friday, 6 pm

As a person with a disability, we face hardships in availing any facility or
service. It starts from education, employment, and goes on to our banking
needs, insurance, investment through demat and trading accounts, access to
financial credit such as loans, credit cards, and so on. Add to it are the
compliance related challenges while using thumb / body impression as a
signature, including ownership and other issues.

To bridge this gap, NAB Delhi is organizing a virtual session on "Legal
rights and entitlements as a person with a disability" on April 24, 2020
(Friday) at six P.M. (IST). The session will be conducted by Amar Jain, who
is a corporate lawyer with over six years' experience in capital markets and
banking & finance respectively. He is also a Certified Professional in Web
Accessibility from International Association of Accessibility Professionals.

I fully agree with what Rajesh sir said. In the subject line it is clearly
written news of interest. Aren't the differently abled in government
sector? If yes then won't it affect them directly? We should not create
the

binary of black and white in these things.

Re: [AI] News of Interest: Coronavirus | PM-CARES donations cut from government staff salaries

2020-04-21 Thread Reach Now
Greetings Pranayarani:

Your gripe is with The Hindu, the Government of India and perhaps with Mr.
Modi too. It is not with Mr. Avinash Shahi.

Please note that Mr. Shahi did not editorialize the Hindu article. He merely
provided a link. Sharing a link to a news article does not imply
endorsement.

Hence, according to your post below, your issue is not with the off topic
nature of the post but with the content of the Hindu news item.

Avinash was merely the bearer of bad tidings as far as you are concerned. So
demolish the message, not the medium or the messenger!

Please consider sharing your perspective with the Hindu's op ed page much
like what Mr. Rahul Bajaj from this list has done so brilliantly in the
past. Please go to the Access India archives to read two of his expertly
written Hindu op eds.

Rajesh

don't be illogical! it should be related to the disability sector, foolish
defending, when the govt is paying salaries even if we don't attend office
for the whole month, can we not giveup a day's salary for the sake of the
nation? at this critical times, we should as disabilities persons must also
contribut our share.

Regarding your second question You will also get all your host meeting

For your third question..if you want to share your screen reader audio then
