Here, it is pertinent to note that not all farmers are against the new
farm bills, its rather an issue of rich farmers vs the poor farmers.
The former are opposing it, where as the latter are supporting it.
Also, the agitation is limited to only a few states.
Hence, calling it as a nationwide protest is highly exaggerated.
There of course must be no compromise on the issue of inclusion of the
disabled in NFA.

Very well said Avichal.
and yes, apart from inclusion of disabled, nothing is there in such
oppositions and protests. and yes, here, farmers are happy with this
movement.
hence, words such as (nationwide), (national) are just flat and decorative
words here.

The National Platform for the Rights of the Disabled (NPRD) extends its
wholehearted support to the ongoing struggle of the kisans throughout the
country against the retrograde legislations - popularly called “farm
bills”
- passed by Parliament.

These Bills will not only accentuate the crisis in the rural economy but
will lead to the dismantling of the PDS and the National Food Security
Act
(NFSA), which in turn will escalate prices of essential commodities, lead
to food insecurity, malnutrition and hunger.

The disabled, despite being one of the most socially and economically
marginalised sections, were left out from being automatically included
under the NFA. The implementation of these legislations will only worsen
their conditions. Even the Delhi High Court had reprimanded the Central
Government in this regard and has sought its response by September 29,
the
next date of hearing in the case.

The NPRD calls upon its affiliates in the states to extend their support
to the peasants who are out on the streets protesting against the passage
of these Bills. It also demands the automatic inclusion of the disabled
in
the “priority households” category in the NFA.

whats the point in supporting farmers agitations? we don't get support from

Very well said Avichal.
and yes, apart from inclusion of disabled, nothing is there in such
oppositions and protests. and yes, here, farmers are happy with this
movement.
hence, words such as (nationwide), (national) are just flat and decorative
words here.

*Press Statement*

Re: [AI] Seeking suggestions for an accessible android phone with good speed.

2020-09-24 Thread PRAMIT BHARGAVA
Hello Ajay,

I personally prefer Android One phones, as they have less
bloatware installed and are not tweaked.
Pixel is a good choice and the best part is that updates will be frequently
available to it.
I also own a Nokia phone and that too works flawlessly.

Hope this helps!

 *Press Statement*

The National Platform for the Rights of the Disabled (NPRD) extends its
wholehearted support to the ongoing struggle of the kisans throughout
 the
country against the retrograde legislations - popularly called “farm
 bills”
 - passed by Parliament.

These Bills will not only accentuate the crisis in the rural economy
 but
will lead to the dismantling of the PDS and the National Food Security
 Act
(NFSA), which in turn will escalate prices of essential commodities,
 lead
to food insecurity, malnutrition and hunger.

The disabled, despite being one of the most socially and economically
marginalised sections, were left out from being automatically included
under the NFA. The implementation of these legislations will only
 worsen
their conditions. Even the Delhi High Court had reprimanded the Central
Government in this regard and has sought its response by September 29,
 the
next date of hearing in the case.

The NPRD calls upon its affiliates in the states to extend their
 support
to the peasants who are out on the streets protesting against the
 passage
of these Bills. It also demands the automatic inclusion of the disabled
 in
the “priority households” category in the NFA.
