Re: [AI] Issue with HDFC bank web portal

2020-11-25 Thread Vaibhav Saraf
Hi,

If I am not wrong according to the regulation one will need to file a
complaint and give some 28-30 days to resolve the issue before suing the
org. Please correct if my understanding is wrong.

Thanks,
Vaibhav

Dear All,
Please find the below Daily Eyeway Alerts:

Will declare results by November 30: DU tells Delhi high court.
New Delhi:
Delhi University on Tuesday informed the Delhi High Court that it
would declare the pending results for various postgraduate and
undergraduate courses by November 30, with the court remarking that
the varsity’s “neck is on board” if it does not meet the deadline. A
bench of Justice Hima Kohli and Justice Subramonium Prasad was
informed by DU’s counsel Mohinder Rupal that it would declare the
results after a plea alleged that varsity had not declared the results
by October 31 in violation of an earlier order dated October 12. On
October 12, the high court had directed the varsity to upload the mark
sheets on its website and that no student should be asked to
physically come to collect them. The court, while noting the
submissions, said the remaining results of postgraduate and
undergraduate courses should be declared by November 30. It posted the
matter for further hearing on December 2. “Your neck is on the board
if you don’t do it,” the bench said during the hearing, while
questioning the filing of an application in a petition that had been
disposed of.
The high court had earlier disposed of two pleas by law student
Prateek Sharma and National Federation of Blind, seeking to set up
effective mechanisms for visually impaired and specially abled
students so that educational instructions can be transmitted to them
properly and teaching material provided through the online mode of
teaching during the Covis-19 pandemic.
The court questioned the maintainability of the application and asked
petitioner Sharma why he had filed it in an already decided matter.
“Why did you file an application in a decided matter? Answer us on the
maintainability first and not on merits... We have reservations in
entertaining the application in a disposed of petition,” the bench
said.
The petitioner, represented through advocate H S Hora, said in the
application that DU had violated the October 12 order, where under the
varsity itself had undertaken to adhere to the October 31 timeline for
the declaration of results of PG and UG courses.
The high court had earlier asked Delhi University and its examiners to
expedite the evaluation process of the online open-book examination
(OBE). Source:

World Handicapped Day sought to be postponed amid Covid surge in State
While Covid-19 is spreading fast in the State, Rajya Shiksha Kendra,
Bhopal has prepared for the grand event of World Disabled Handicapped
Day (On December 03) across the State and allocated budget to all
Block Resource Coordinator (BRC) of State capital.
Since, corona spread in the State for past eight months, the State
Government is not allowing schools to open. On the contrary, the
disabled children who have low immunity from birth and who are already
suffering from diseases are likely to get infected soon. These types
of events is risking their lives. In such a situation, the decision to
organise such an event, seems whimsical.
Taking this seriously, Commissioner Disabled Sandeep Rajak has also
expressed concern that this time is not suitable for the competition
and a letter has been written to Commissioner State Education Center
by Madhya Pradesh by Mobile Source Advisor Special Teachers
Association.
The letter has mentioned of reference of organizing action sports
activity for CWSN and request has been made by all the working mobile
source consultants that children in the age group 6 to 14 are
physically challenged children need physical support, while every
disabled child along with their parents and teachers would be required
to be present in the program, making the gathering huge one creating
difficulty in properly following the social distancing coronavirus
guideline with the differently-abled children in the situation and in
properly conducting the program.
Therefore, it is requested that World Handicapped Day observed on
December 03 should be postponed in the month of February, the letter
stated. Source:

Hi,

We provide 2 solutions on PC

1) Kibo Web (kibo.trestlelabs.com)

2) Kibo Desk Beta (kibodesk.trestlelabs.com)

Both work well on Windows 8 and above. Some functionalities might not work on
Windows 7 properly. We will suggest the users of windows 7 to upgrade as
Microsoft has also ended the support of Windows 7 in Jan this year. Please
refer to the link.

RE: [AI] Daily Eyeway Alerts

2020-11-25 Thread George Abraham
Let me apologise for the use of the words World Handicap day. We normally do
not tamper with the language of the Newspaper or agency that publishes the news
item. These are the words perhaps used by the Govt. officer who has made the
announcement. When we share information specially while referring to published
articles, we would not make any edits. The use of terms like handicap etc.
clearly reflects the reality that prevails in many parts of the country. It has
to do with ignorance, perceptions and language nuances.

Ashok, your point is well made and well taken, but we would continue to share
news items without altering the language of the publisher.

Thanks for taking the time to write and share your thoughts. Much appreciated.

George
