Re: [AI] seeking suggestions for some good data storing cloud platform other than dropbox.
Office 365 is actually a very good package. Even cheaper if you have people with whom you can share the family subscription. [AI] Gmail Labels and Folders.
Hello, When I delete any mail from my inbox, labelled or not, it gets deleted. Is there any way I can move a mail to a particular folder? I always do it in outlook express. But it does not give me the chance to delete any mail online from gmail and so my gmail space is about 74% full. I just want to delete old mails keeping some of them in a separate folder online. I am still clinging to outlook express for its speed and convenience. With best regards, Amiyo Biswas Cell: 6290527506 / 9433464329 -- Disclaimer: 1. Re: [AI] seeking suggestions for some good data storing cloud platform other than dropbox.
You can go for Office 365 subscription at about Rs.360 per month, in which you'll get 1TB space on OneDrive, which is fully accessible. I've been using it for last 2 years. This way, you can also use the original version of the office applications. [AI] seeking suggestions for some good data storing cloud platform other than dropbox.
Hello access Indians, 1. I have been using paid version of dropbox for the past five years and paying close to rupees 9000 annually for the same. 2. Is there any other accessible data storing cloud platform as accessible as dropbox. 3. My whole computer consisting of almost 500 GB of data is on dropbox. 4. I find Google drive definitely cost effective but not very accessible when compared with dropbox. Waiting for your feedback/suggestions Warm regards Ajay Arora -- Disclaimer: 1. [AI] BGFI’s Panel Discussion on Making the Best of Work From Home and the Hybrid Model today at 5:00 PM.
Dear all, Greetings from Blind Graduates Forum Of India! We have just emerged from one rather unexpected year to a (hopefully) bright and happier new year. For us at BGFI, we hope to be able to apply our learnings from the pandemic pause to better our work. Speaking of, our first session for this year is a rather exciting one! This last year forced us all to function completely within the four walls of our homes. While many of us have started moving out, we are yet to a grate extent required to manage our professional work from our homes. While this sudden shift has been a difficult one for even abled individuals to adjust to, those of us with disabilities may have had to find new ways to cope with these changes. So, our first session for the year involves a panel discussion with three extremely accomplished individuals on their experiences with adjusting to working from home and newly acquired hybrid model of a regular work week. We will have a detailed conversation on ways to make the best of this work from home for the times to come in terms of networking, improving efficiency at your work, appropriately managing the privacy of the data and much more. Session date and time: Saturday, January 23RD 5 PM to 6:30 PM. Our first panelist is Mr. Amit Jain. Mr. Jain is a faculty member at SPJIMR and a research associate with the Centre for Disability and Integration, University of Saint Gallen. He completed his post-graduation from the highly revered IIM Ahmedabad. Mr. Jain worked in the industry for almost 8 years before associating with IIM Calcutta for a PhD. He completed his postdoctoral research at the university of St. Gallen. He is very passionate about issues relating to diversity and inclusion, with an emphasis on persons with disabilities. His work at both the doctoral and postdoctoral level has been in the field of disability inclusion. He has presented his work at various national and international forums. During his stay at IIM Calcutta, Amit has worked with the institute’s administration to make the campus and studies more accessible. Our second panelist is Mr. Arjun Malhotra. Mr. Malhotra completed BA Hons. (English) in year 2013 from St. Stephen’s College University of Delhi; followed by an LL.B. from Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi in year 2016. He then went ahead and completed his LL.M. (Cyber Laws) from USLLS, GGSIPU, as well as his Post Graduation Diploma in Cyber Crimes and Cyber Law from GGSIPU, USLLS, both in year 2020. He is currently working as Asst. Manager (Law) in Power Grid Corporation Of India Limited from 2016. Our third panelist, Ms. Swati, in keeping with the trend, also has an extremely impressive profile. She completed her Post Graduation in Management from the prestigious IIM Bangalore in 2013. In 2011, she was awarded 4 gold medals by the Governor of Karnataka for securing the 1st rank in all of Bangalore University, comprising of 654 colleges. In 2015, she was a youth delegate representing India at the 7th United Nations Convention of Rights of Persons with Disabilities held in New York City. She currently works as Manager of Talent Management at Indegene Pvt. Ltd. Given how accomplished all our panelists are, we can say for certain that this discussion is going to be a rather interesting and enriching one! We are extremely excited about venturing out into this year with a session such as this, and we hope you are too! Where will this discussion be taking place? A very important question indeed! We shall be requesting the help of our best friend of one year- Zoom! How can you get the link to the Zoom meeting? It’s quite simple actually!
