Hi all, I hope you all fine with good health in this pandemic situation.friends recently my Samsung galaxy m30s has receive android 11 update. These days I am using uber for my daily commutation. Earlier I used “nearby explorer online” and “eye d pro” for where am I purposes. But I guess eye d pro has discontinued the travel mode. Apart from this, the nearby explorer online app only works when phone’s screen is unlock. control spread of Covid. The persons with visual impairment found it difficult to avail 
voluntary support of other people while seeking help to cross road or negotiate a busy 
street. The people were reluctant to extend their arm to assist such persons as human guides 
or hold their white cane to avoid human touch. The ICEVI West Asia and BPA took up the 
challenge of modifying mobility cane technique as well as human guide technique which could 
enable persons with visual impairment avail voluntary services of public while maintain 
social distance and avoiding human touch completely. Both these techniques have been 
developed after seeking comments and feedback of a large number of persons around the world 
by creating a WhatsApp Group known as "Covid & Mobility of Blind". Thanks to 
all those persons who participated in discussion on this group.

  


Now, ICEVI WA and BPA wish to demonstrate these techniques to Mobility Instructors, 
Special Educators, CBR Master Trainers, persons with visual impairment and the parents. 
The techniques shall be further refined based upon the feedback of participants. Mr 
Rajendra KR, International Disability and Development Consultant , Innovative 
Development Transformations has consented provide his Opening Remarks on this 
initiative. Dr B K Panchal, as accomplished Master Trainer of O & M shall 
demonstrate both the techniques. We expect number of other O&M expert to join us in 
this webinar.

  


We invite all persons who are interested in teaching, promotion and use of 
mobility techniques to join us in this webinar. We shall limit participation to 
500 persons on first come first basis. You are most welcome to complete your 
registration formalities at your earliest convenience and oblige.

techniques have been developed after seeking comments and feedback of a large 
number of persons around the world by creating a WhatsApp Group known as "Covid 
& Mobility of Blind". Thanks to all those persons who participated in 
discussion on this group.

 

Now, ICEVI WA and BPA wish to demonstrate these techniques to Mobility 
Instructors, Special Educators, CBR Master Trainers, persons with visual 
impairment and the parents. The techniques shall be further refined based upon 
the feedback of participants. Mr Rajendra KR, International Disability and 
Development Consultant , Innovative Development Transformations has consented 
provide his Opening Remarks on this initiative. Dr B K Panchal, as accomplished 
Master Trainer of O & M shall demonstrate both the techniques. We expect number 
of other O&M expert to join us in this webinar.

 

We invite all persons who are interested in teaching, promotion and use of 
mobility techniques to join us in this webinar. We shall limit participation to 
500 persons on first come first basis. You are most welcome to complete your

your browser (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Microsoft Edge ou
Safari). After that, just access the script, which will be recognized by
Tampermonkey, and click on install.

After installing the script for Whatsapp Web,
WhatsappWebWithMoreAccessibility, when accessing the app, you must wait for
the application to load and then use the shortcut ALT + S. If the script is
deactivated, the message: Script activated successfully will be displayed;
if the script is already activated, an alert will be given with the message
Script disabled. When you deactivate it, all elements and shortcuts created
by it will be removed, except the activation and deactivation shortcut.

Expert member of HP State Advisory Board on Disability and chairman of
Umang Foundation Ajai Srivastava has urged Education Minister Govind
Thakur to ensure college and school hostel accommodation to visually
impaired and other students who can’t walk due to disability.
In a letter to the minister, he said that freshers were denied hostel
accommodation. Educational institutions have opened after 11 months
but initially only old students are being given accommodation in the
hostels of colleges and schools. He said in this situation the
visually impaired students and those who can’t walk due to disability
will face hardships.
Quoting a case of RKMV College of Shimla where four visually impaired
girls, Shalini (Chamba), Monika (Kinnaur), Kiran (Rohru) and Priya
(Sarahan) have been admitted in BA, he said that in case they are not
given hostel accommodation, they would be deprived of their classes
and examinations. The same position prevails in all colleges and
schools across the state.
