my complaint which was filed well in time. A good judge would penalise the IT

I think that the Income-tax department will not accept the reason of 
inaccessibility of the Income-tax website as a valid reason for not filing your 
Income-tax return. If there is any tax payable by you, they will charge 
interest and penalty on the outstanding tax & if there is a refund, the refund 
will not be processed until the return is filed.

Why don’t you complain to CCPD or the Court. I can help you. 
They are stonewalling me at the moment. 
Either we are stupid or they are.
Its really a fight that takes a lot of energy.

he new IT portal is a complete accessibility disaster, as has been discussed 
over here many times. And despite some solid efforts from many over here, the 
powers that be, seem to be in no mood to listen and correct. In effect, you can 
login to the site, and not much more after. Some controls can somewhat be 
accessed through turning the virtual cursor, but nothing effectively can be 
done. Pathetic disaster an absolutely disgraceful botch job by Infosys and the 
Finance Department.

I think that the Income-tax department will not accept the reason of

usually I would file through Cleartax.in but after redesigning the IT
portal many things have been changed.

Cleartax has not got API from the IT portal and in result of this
Cleartax

So now the only option is to download the json file from the Cleartax
which you will be getting at the last step after filling all the

Earlier, I had to download form 26as of my father.

Since he does not file his ITR himself, so I had to forget the password.

Do to it's inaccessibility, I could not do that.

After clicking the forgot password, I could not select aadhar based OTP
with screen reader.

At the end, I took sighted assistance to do that.

booth on Bandra-Worli Sea Link (BWSL) were booked for allegedly abusing,
humiliating, and assaulting a 42-year-old handicapped motorist, after the
victim refused to pay the toll and showed his Government Identity card. The
government resolutions (GR) show exemption for motorists who are over 85 per
cent handicapped. When the victim, Ramdas Khot, failed to cross the toll, he
approached the Bandra police for help and a first information report was
filed. The victim underwent a medical examination to check for any, internal
injuries. The Bandra police booked the two accused under the Indian Penal
Code and Disability act that amounts to five years imprisonment if found
guilty. The police are yet to arrest the two accused. The incident occurred
at around 2.45 pm on the Southbound on BWSL when Khot, an assistant
secretary with Prahar Janshakti Party (PJP) at Mantralaya, was stopped by
the toll collection staff and diverted other motorists from entering the
lane, and allegedly abused and blew punches on his face and head. "Since
Friday, I have not stepped out of my house as the incident left me
traumatised. This was the first time I witnessed such an incident on the
BWSL in the last four years ever since I started driving to Mantralaya for
work. Despite showing the necessary documents, the toll guys thrashed me.
When I showed them the government ID, they abused me saying 'tum logon ko
masti chaddi hai'," Khot told TOI. Meanwhile, authorities with the Mumbai
Entrypoint Toll (MEP) said the staff at the toll post in fact requested him
to get a fastag from NHAI that offered waivers to handicapped motorists but
MSRDC notification under which the toll was operated did not suggest any
waiver to 80% handicapped motorists. "Our staff was on the defensive when he
manhandled a few after refusing the payment. The video is enough to show how
the staff behaved with him. We also went to the police to file an FIR but
they suggested we register an NC," authorities pointed out. No arrests have
been made as police are probing into the incident.

for the past few years I myself used to file my ITR but this year till
date I have not filed yet, I have written many times to Income Tax
Department about accessability of ITR portal but they never replied my
mail till date, I will not file my ITR and will wait for their notice,
I have taken print of all my mails to ITO department.
