[AI] Book required

2022-03-15 Thread Kanchan Pamnani
One of my senior friends would like to read" No Pity, by Joseph Shapiero".

Any ideas where he could get an accessible version.

Thanks

Hello Kanchan,
Kindle doesn't seem to have it in the ebook form at least here, they don't.
That's irony right there.
Here is the book in an accessible version, both .mobi and rtf should they
have trouble with the first.
https://we.tl/t-qwWWY4EApc
 Hope that helps.
P.S. The link will stay up for about 7 days, so grab it before then.

[AI] Looking for content creators to colaborate

2022-03-15 Thread C. Lyngdoh
Hi all,

Hope you are doing fine.

Most of you know that Enable India recently launched an educative tool
for computer learners called 'Blimey' on the 3rd of December 2021.
In order to leverage and diversify Blimey, Enable India is willing to
make the tool a one-stop solution for all persons with disabilities
across the globe. Apart from the computer learning tutorials that we
currently have, we also want to host other useful materials related to
persons with disabilities.
As for now, we are looking at contents related to assistive aids,
discussion on the career growth for PWDs, web accessibility, solutions
adopted by individuals to overcome certain challenges, screen reader
tips and tricks and many others. Keeping this goal in mind, we are
working toward talking to various content creators, youtubers,
podcasters and those individuals/organizations who are willing to
maximise their reach to a wider audience through Blimey. Hence, to
kick start this project, we need few contacts of the channel owners,
youtubers, content developers, podcasters, etc., from the Kannada,
Telegu and Tamil community.
If any of you know such individuals/groups, contact Cornelius on
+917760512962
or email at
cornel...@enableindia.org

Looking forward to a positive response from the community.

Thanks,
Cornelius Lyngdoh.

Re: [AI] KYC for banking facilities for the blind

2022-03-15 Thread Bharat
Hi,

Here is the update on this. My Kyc has now been rescheduled for the
3rd time. On each of these days, let alone the represetative visit, I
haven't even received a phone call from anyone.

I have also written to ICICI on their website for the 1st level
complaint but to no avail as no one got back to me. Considering, ICICI
did not send me a copy of my submission to me despite asking for my
email ID at the time of submitting my request, I don't even have a
proof of my submission.

I called up the Amazon customercare who assured me that they have
raised my concern to the verification department & have lined up my
request at the high priority. In such a scenario I technically have no
proof of having reached out to ICICI to be attached at the time of
complaining to banking ombudsman.

Thank you,

Bharat.

 Hi all,

I recently filled up the online application for the Amazon ICICI
credit card & was presented with the video KYC option. Once I opted
for that, the representative refused to conduct my KYC once she
realised me being blind. She instead suggested me to opt for the home
 document collection option.

I have scheduled the home collection thrice but no one has come up for
 it till now.

I would like to know, if the video KYC is not for the blind. & if yes,
then what are the rules for it.

 Thank you,

 Bharat.

Hi, PNB Metlife, HDFC Click to Protect and MaxLife, these three are at
least providing term insurance policies to VIs without any hastle. Its
better to approach policybazar.com, they will bestow adequate time as
well as help us to choose the better plan suited to one's need.
You just need to fill their online form either fully or partially,
they will contact you within few minutes/hours.
Cheers!

Re: [AI] KYC for banking facilities for the blind

2022-03-15 Thread Harshit Lohia
Dear Mr. Bharat,
Please note the date on which you have made a complaint to ICICI bank.
On 30th day of filing complaint with ICICI bank approach RBI Ombudsman
via CMS portal. The link is available on RBI's official website. While
registering the complaint mention that you have approached the bank on
which date; your declaration in this regard may suffice. You may
choose to attach any other document/communication such as mail
regarding schedule of KYC call or application copy. If you don't have
any document you may submit the complaint without any attachment also.
This pressurises the bank to act with urgency.

Regards
Harshit
