Re: [AI] Airtel thanks app accessibility

2022-04-09 Thread drbsmkumar
Hello Rahul,
The app has never been accessible to me on iOS. All my attempts to send a
feedback through the app or through the customer care has gone and deaf ears.
This is my observation

[AI] Airtel thanks app accessibility

2022-04-09 Thread Rahul Bhatia
Hi all the latest version of airtel thanks app has become totaly
inaccessible. Has any 1 taken any action regarding this? Screen reader user
can not check plan benifits even unable to make recharge or bill payment.
Being a large telecom sector airtel should make their platform accessible
for the PWD users as well.

I sincerely appreciate you taking the initiative to make a positive impact
on our children and putting in the effort to deliver the prework and
interview.

After evaluating the entire process, *I regret to inform you that we will
not proceed to the next stage with your application for **the School and
Government Partnerships Team Lead position.*

I would like to share the summary of my evaluation with you:

*Glows:*
 - Good communication skills
 - Honesty
 - Passion for the cause of education and children, esp inclusive education
 - Tried different ways to convince the stakeholder

*Grows:*
 - Did not focus on the specific details of the program as explained by me
during the first call. Our current model needs specific time investment
from teachers and is not based on volunteers. Hence in the HM roleplay, the
concern was a genuine one that teachers complain about their already busy
schedule. We are not looking at a volunteer-driven model currently.
 - The role would need significant fieldwork in different locations,
including schools and government offices. I understand you have been
navigating things independently and that is greatly appreciated. But
looking at the quantum of work and the speed needed, your visual disability
would be a limitation for you in this particular role.

Once again, we appreciate your commitment and overall positive attitude. We
wish you all the best in getting into a role aligned with your passion, esp
around inclusive education.

Hello List members,

Since I am looking for work opportunities in the development sector. i
recently gave interview in this organization and cleared 2 rounds. i tried
my best as they have acknowledged and have been selected for the reasons
mentioned above.

However the only statement in the message that affected me was "But looking
at the quantum of work and the speed needed, your visual disability would
be a limitation for you in this particular role. "

If this is the statement given in the end. How are persons with disability
(all) can get be employed?

Hi! You have not asked to attempt for practical exam, because NIELIT‘s policy
is that, visually impaired are not permitted for practical exams, which is
totally wrong if you ask my point of you. Its reason is that, there are no much
barriers to do the practical of computer application, even totally blind R mode
familiar with practical computer application, even one of my relatives friend
is a computer engineer and is totally blind. Thanks.

Re: [AI] Want to know the feedback on Dell and Asus Laptops

2022-04-09 Thread Harshit Lohia
HI,
I have experience of using Dell, Asus and Lenovo. I find Dell best out
of the three. Service centre of Asus is pathetic. My Asus laptop had
developed some fault just after 3 months of buying a new one. The
company's authorised service centre had returned the laptop after 3
months citing non-availability of parts. After expiry of warranty,
charger got damaged. Spare was not available at service centre and the
two spare chargers I bought online didn't fit properly in the charging
port.
As far as dell is concerned, they have placed arrow keys in such a
manner that it is not difficult to locate them on the laptop keyboard
which is usual problem on other laptop keyboards. Dell has also placed
tactile dots on some keys like "Delete" and "escape" which makes using
keyboard more comfortable.

Hi,
I had qualified CCC exam of NIELIT way back when it was called DOEACC.
I had enrolled only for giving exam at the institute's examination
centre and had not taken courseware from the institute. I was provided
