Greetings of the day. as the subject line suggests,as a visually
impaired,  when I try to interact with the persons with HI/def and dum
candidates, it is quite challenging for me. is there any way out of
it? where we can independantly talk with above mentioned persons apart
from the sighn language interpreter? I guess, apart from the sighn
language, there is a language which is based upon touch sences, where
both visually impaired and HI candidate can communicate.

BBC is broadcasting all the matches live but geoblocked.  I don't
think SEN is available in India without subscription.  Do inform if

Good evening. One of the things that I am working on right now at the Vidhi 
Centre for Legal Policy is advocating for media content to become more 
accessible. One way in which I would like to do this is to identify 
entertainment content that does not have audio description and then to press 
the appropriate levers to try and remedy this. I am on good terms with people 
in leadership positions at Netflix and hot star. Together, those two streaming 
platforms provide a sizable chunk of entertainment  content in India. Getting 
through to someone at Amazon prime should not be very hard either.

In addition, I would also like to reach out to production houses in individual 
cases where some entertainment content is not audio described. My conversations 
on media accessibility till now reveal that one critical element to ensuring 
greater audio description is establishing  the demand for this service.  And 
that is where I would like your assistance. We will have to identify individual 
pieces of content, such as a movie or TV show, that does not have audio 
description and then make a representation for it to become accessible. If 
needed, this may have to be supported with open letters, petitions on 
change.org, social media campaigns etc. So please use this thread to share any 
content that you come across that does not have audio description, along with 
the platform  where you saw it and the name of the production house. Thanks

I was listening to The Sen radio yesterday 9:30 PM Brazil versus Switzerland match. However, the late night match I couldn’t listen and as you see this and radio didn’t have the broadcast commentary of the match. Sometimes what they do is they have the match only on their app and unfortunately that app is free only in Australian New Zealand win Indian users. We have some subscription for the Hai app say like $10 month or so. Hi,

BBC might not make the important matches available outside the UK since
these are the last games of the group stage. Unless someone has a better
alternative May I suggest tv streaming? It's not bad and you can pair it
with text commentary. Jio Cinema is streaming it free and you can
download the app or log in on the website.

Till last evening, I was able to follow the BBC radio commentary of FIFA
World cup but since last night, I am unable to follow the same. What is
being said is that the commentary is unavailable due to rights
restrictions. Are you also facing the same thing? Could you please help me
