Re: [AI] Is original leaving certificate compulsory for court marriage?

2021-06-13 Thread BHAGYASHREE GANDHI
Hello Mohit thank you so much.
As the statement in the documents issued by digi locker states that, it is
digitally signed and valid electronically, I would like to seek
clarification weather it will be excepted by the court during a court
marriage?
If yes, kindly share the reference where it is clearly stated.
Thanks and regards.

Hello everyone.
As we know that, our pan and Aadhar are obtained based on our leaving or

it still necessary to produce original leaving or Birth certificate as ahe
proof during court marriage?
Kindly share latest references about the same.
Thanks and regards.

Re: [AI] SBI clerical: blind stuck between general and VI cut off

2018-10-11 Thread BHAGYASHREE GANDHI
Dear Sir,

Sir every year thousands of visually challenged students appear for
various competitive and Banking exams for career opportunities. It’s
very good and
we have to feel proud for them.
But in recent years, a lot of wrong doings or injustice is happening
with them which I would like to share one by one.
Following are the points which i would like to share with you
list of 1 items
1) Paid Scribe
list end
Due to a lot of competition for jobs and limited number of vacancies
for visually challenged students, they are misguided and they appear
for those exams
in a wrong manner. This amount can go upto 1 lacs rupee per scribe for
1 written exam.
ist end
list of 1 items
2) Written exams Marks Weightage
list end
Written exams has weightage of 80% while Personal interviews account
for only 20%.
A student’s true calibre or potential can be known through his
knowledge, attitude and behaviour. The best platform to get to know
about the students is
Personal interview. Written tests can be cleared by many wrong means
but personal interview is the true test to judge a students knowledge
Solution : Weightage to Personal interviews should be increased so
that visually challenged students prepare themselves for personal
interviews and they
will be in a better position to work when they will be placed in their
respective organizations. They will be able to communicate properly,
handle day
to day official problems and would perform well in the Organization.
list of 1 items
3) Rising Cut off Marks
list end
We all know that students with other physically disabilities are in a
better position to appear for exams as they can see the questions,
solve the questions
on paper and answer the questions easily as compared to visually
challenged students.
Visually challenged students have to rely on scribe to read the
questions which they have to visualize and then find the answer
through visualizations
only.
So it is most difficult for visually challenged students to appear for
written exams.
But if you see the recent cut off marks for competitive exams and
banking exams, the cut offs has increased drastically as compared to
last 2-3 years.
Also the cut off’s for visually challenged students is more than other
physical disability students making them difficult to clear the exams.
Recent cutoffs are mentioned below
SBI prelim cut off [Maharashtra]
2018 for VI: 49
2017: 42.50
2016: 37
SBI PO mains cut of for vi who has selected for GDPI 2017: 88.9
SBI po cut of for 2016: 79.50
SBI PO cut of after normalisation for those who got recruited 2017: 46.11
2016: 43.08
SBI Clerk prelims [Maharashtra]
2018: 61.75
2016: 55.75
.

Re: [AI] Scribe guidelines

2018-06-27 Thread BHAGYASHREE GANDHI
I have been giving Banking exams since 4 years.
But, could not clear in-spite of all necessary efforts, due to very
high cutoff of visually impaired catagory resulting out of scribe
misuse.
The main reason for scribe misuse is due to the existing patern of
most competitive exams.
If the patern of exam continues as it is, then it is imposible for a
completely visually impaired candidate to clear without scribe
interfearence.
Even if the scribe guidelines are changed, or the exam is made
accessible, the problem is not going to be solved, as the patern will
be the same.
Firstly, There are some very complicated questions in Quantitative
aptitude and reasoning sections, which generally the scribes are not
in a position to explain a totally blind candidate.
I feel, the solution on this problem is, the patern of competitive
exams should be changed.
Then only a visually impaired candidate will be able to independently
solve the paper.
Secondly, Just by making the exam accessible with screen reader won't
work, if the patern of questions, pertaining to reasoning and aptitude
sections remains the same.

Kindly request you to take the above mentioned issues in to
consideration before finalising the decission.

Kriti Banga posted in blind star's

news for braille readers:

MUMBAI: Since the past four months, the inheritors of Veer Savarkar's
legacy have devoted themselves to translating 14 of his books in
Braille. This labour of love will be unveiled on Tuesday morning at
the Swatantryaveer Savarkar Rashtriya Smarak opposite Shivaji Park.

The collection is divided into 24 volumes comprising 3,900 pages. It
is in English, so blind readers across the country can access it. The
copies are printed in the best quality paper that can last up to 50
years, said smarak chairman Ranjit Savarkar. The trust collaborated
with the National Association for the Blind and Language Empire for
the translation.

Ashok Shinde, who executed the project, said, These books will be
made available free of cost on our upcoming multilingual web site of
13 languages, including Braille.

The freedom fighter whom the British had sentenced to the Andamans was
a prolific writer. The Mangeshkars' rendition of his poem, 'Sagara
pran talamalala' remains a favourite on radio.
