These people have also built in accessibility in their programs. Further
their education and outreach team is always very keen to do art workshop
for students with disabilities.

Anyone in Bangalore should explore

Re: [AI] Panel to study idea of univ for students with disabilities Mumbai

2023-12-25 Thread Neha Trivedi
This is a very scary and a dangerous step. Either setting up a special
University or exclusive centers within universities especially at higher
education will defeat the access to quality and choice based education

There are already existing models of inclusive education in higher
education. Focus should be to promote and replicate those ideas.

There is a lot of data available on the ground. Is there any way in which
we can put across a representation to this committee?

Re: [AI] Panel to study idea of univ for students with disabilities Mumbai

2023-12-24 Thread Neha Trivedi
Hi

Any idea who is on this panel? Can we find a way to ensure they don't land
up adopting some disastrous ideas.

Let me know if you are on it or know anyone else on it with whom we can
discuss this further

I have lots of inputs from the ground based on Spandan's work in higher
education

Thanks
Neha

@Anirudh - These guidelines are specifically for persons with disabilities
less than 40%. Who might also need a scribe. So they are outlining the
process to follow. The scribe qualification are the same as the 2018
guidlines
