Re: [AI] Job oriented training for Visually Impaired youths in Bangalore Cheshire Homes
Moderators: Kindly add my id muthura...@gmail.com to the mailing list somehow i am not getting mails from AI, Hence using my wife’s email to reply. With her permission, Please excuse me just this time. Smiles! Dear Lokesh, As you are aware that we had a very successful first batch of training programme for VI & placed them including VI girl candidate as VI computer trainer in a reputed VI NGO & Other Pvt companies, Now we are looking forward for the candidates for second batch in Whitefield unit. There are still few seats open, for the current training along with free accommodation for which enrollment is still on. First of all appreciate your guts in openly maligning a representative of an organization who tireless working for Persons with disability. So do you expect an organization to start paying a salary to a person who is not even willing to attend an interview, only on basis of talking on phone for 3-4 times that too informally on odd hours & holidays? You were supposed to come for an interview for MT trainer post, you never visited, even I offered to meet you on Sunday which is holiday for me still I was willing to work, that too you rejected & In the meantime we were anticipating an MT project from a prospective company who were interested initially which for some reason didn’t click well for us. In fact I updated you the same last January too that MT Project hasn’t started yet. You know my number & email you could have directly clarified your confusion with me like the way we did on phone today. Instead of demotivating the prospective candidates like this. I think you have lost you sanity that’s what I felt talking with you today, you seem to have filled with so much hatred & negativity towards the world, and according to you all NGOs including mine are corrupt not doing any work. I suggest please change your mindset, Soo much of negativity in mind is not good for your physical & mental health. Because WHAT YOU THINK IS WHAT YOU DO, WHAT YOU DO IS WHAT YOU BECOME. SO THINK POSITIVE & BE POSITIVE, this is my humble suggestion to you my friend. Finally Lokesh kindly be cautious in future of what you put in public forum you cannot defame or malign any organization without any base, as it is unlawful. You can even be slapped with defamation case on you! For all others peers in this forum, kindly ignore what Lokesh had commented out of “CONFUSION” (that's what the reason he gave me on phone for his comment) Please go through information about my organization & also about my work use following links for details: http://www.deccanchronicle.com/lifestyle/viral-and-trending/051216/cheshire-homes-making-the-world-inclusive-for-disabled.html http://www.newindianexpress.com/cities/hyderabad/2016/oct/19/making-spaces-to-suit-the-disabled-1529782.html?pm=183 Last but not the least, the reason of me writing this mail is not that I am afraid of your criticism or scornful abuse. But i am worried of negative impact it would create on my prospective VI candidates seeking an opportunity to get trained & worried about losing the deserving candidate who might get demotivated by your insane comments. The latest benefit comes amid the centre’s renewed outreach to the disabled people who form 2.1% of India’s population. With these incentives, the government hopes it will encourage disabled people to join skill developments courses that are aimed to reap the demographic dividend. India has 21 million people suffering from one form of disability or the other. The incentives include accommodation allowance of Rs 3000 for 2 to 6 months. Uniform allowance of Rs 3000 as disabled people has higher chances of soiling their dresses. Rs 5000 to buy wheel chairs or calipers or Rs 2000 for teaching aids like reading softwares. “We have also identified areas where disabled people can work easily and deliver best results. If given proper training, they can get better jobs and earn more money,” said Sinha. The latest step for the welfare of disabled people comes after the Parliament enacted the law on Rights of persons with Disabilities. The law conferred several rights and entitlements to disabled persons. “Department of empowered persons with disabilities may kindly explore the feasibility for providing for the provisions as part of any skill development provisions,” says a note of the rural development ministry. The government has also asked different departments to make offices and training centres more disabled-friendly. The rural ministry submitted its proposals to the Common Norms Committee of the skill development ministry to take the final call. “We have also identified areas where disabled people can work easily and deliver best results.
