I think the best and simplest way to configure GMail with OE would be to
download the auto configuration tool and work through it. It is a .exe
file. You need to run the file, select the microsoft outlook express option
and hit on the configure button. It will automatically complete the
necessary steps.The only thing you wil have to do after this is to enable
pop in your GMail account. -
For full details, log in to your GMail inbox and go to google help section
by clicking 'help'. In the search edit box, type something like configuring
GMail with outlook, or simply configure e-mail client. You'll find not only
the autoconfiguration file, but all details regarding how to use it, how to
configure the client manually if you want and how to enable the pop and
forwarding.
