detail. In case, if you know this already, please do not mind it.

In the Jaws Context Menu, please go to Utilities submenu, there in
Configuration Manager press enter, you will hear the message
default.jcf-jaws configuration manager. Press alt key, one right arrow,
one down arrow and letter v to reach verbosity options. By pressing a
tab you may find a dialogue box "beginner preferences..." Press space
bar and control and end to reach the bottom of the dialogue box, there
you may find tool tips not checked, just check it by pressing space bar
once. Press tab twice and enter in the okay button. Please follow the
same method in intermediate preferences... and advanced preferences...
enter in okay button and save the changes while coming out of the
configuration manager. Now the jaws will say size of the
file/folder/drive wherever the cursor goes.

Hello Sir,
You are absolutely right. The command insert +tab does not help to know all
the sizes of files and folders. Hence will you please inform what is view
style? How to set a file or folder in to view style?

Thanks in advance.

Re: [AI] " file size.

2009-08-06 Thread Amiyo Biswas
Thank you for the tip. In this case, Jaws will say size for all files and
folders. You can also use insert+b in the Property dialogue box. Jaws will
read the entire dialogue box in tab order. It's also a bit clumsy, but very
useful in dialogue boxes. Otherwise, I prefer the jaws cursor method.

Amiyo.

twice and enter in the okay button. Please follow the same method in
intermediate preferences... and advanced preferences... enter in okay button
and save the changes while coming out of the configuration manager. Now the
jaws will say size of the file/folder/drive wherever the cursor goes.

With regards.

hello,
1
go to particular folder or file of which you want to check size[property].
2
press application key and r.
3
now you have to activate jaws cursor.
hence, you come to know size of folder or file.
