Re: [AI] A question regarding independent traveling of the blind

2020-11-03 Thread Avichal Bhatnagar
Hello list members,
I thank each one of you for your prompt and highly valuable response.
Is anybody aware about whether escort services are still being
provided by the airlines, in light of social distancing measures?
Owing to the discussion so far, I would like to know that does Air
India also provide escort service, and if yes, then how is its
quality?
Also, I heard some years back that Air India offers 50 percent
concession to vi travelers on domestic travel; is it still applicable?
If yes, then what's the procedure of availing the same?

[AI] A question regarding independent traveling of the blind

2020-11-02 Thread Avichal Bhatnagar
Hello list members,
As the subject line indicates, I want to know some things regarding
the solo traveling of a vi:
1. Which airlines in India provide best escort services to the blind,
and how can it be availed?
2. Do 5 star hotels in general provide rooms to a vi person if he/she
is all alone?
Thanking you
Avichal
