·   Any visually impaired person, who's educational qualification
should be 12th pass and above.

·   Who want to use computer skills for their education/ employment,
and having good communication English, and basic knowledge of mathematics.



*Joining Procedure:*

Candidates have to attend the evaluation test before the training starts,
Candidates will be considered as eligible only if they pass the evaluation
tests.

Evaluation can also be done online or over the phone for out station
candidates.



Once they pass the evaluation test:



1. Candidates have to register in Mitra Jyothi for the course; the
registration fee for the course is Rs. 200.

2. Refundable deposit, Rs. 500.

3. *Accommodation with food is available on a nominal fee.*

4. Independent living skill training to the rural women with visual
impairment.

6. Community radio Training in which students are given radio jockey
training, production, post production  broadcasting training. 

 

About Enable India

Enable India is a non-profit organization working tirelessly since its
inception from 1999 towards the economic independence and dignity of persons
with disabilities. The needs of all kinds of disabilities like visually
impaired, hearing impaired, physically disabled, mental retardation, mental
illness and more across India are catered by Enable India.

The major thrust areas are employment, pre-employment services, and work
place solutions, supplemental education, consulting and enabling other
institutions working for the persons with disabilities.
