yes there is a provision for the visually challanged person who is using
his/her thump impration/print instead of sign by hand writing they are allow to
open a demat/trading acount in any bank. even I am having demat and trading
acount in state bank of india. in this regard there is a cercular issued by
NSDL but I am unable to send you the cerculare since it is my home. I shall
send it to you by tomowrrow.
