                                CENTRAL TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST (CTET) – SEPT 
2015

                                

                                The Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi 
will be conducting the
8th Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on 20.09.2015 (Sunday) for
candidates to be eligible for appointment as teacher for Class I to VIII.
Candidates can apply On-line for CTET-SEPT 2015 through CTET official
website - www.ctet.nic.in only.

                                

                                Applicability

                                

                                i The CTET shall apply to schools of the 
Central Government (KVS, NVS,
Tibetan Schools, etc) and schools under the Administrative Control of UT of
Chandigarh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Daman & Diu, Dadra &
Nagar Haveli and NCT of Delhi.

                                

                                ii CTET may also apply to the unaided private 
schools, who may exercise
the option of considering the CTET.

                                

                                iii Schools owned and managed by the State 
Government/local bodies and
aided schools shall consider the TET conducted by the State Government.
However, a State Government can also consider the CTET if it decides not to
conduct the State TET.

                                

                                iv According to CBSE Affiliation Bye-Law 53, 
prescribing the minimum
qualifications for teachers to teach various subjects in Classes I to VIII
in the schools Affiliated to CBSE stands amended to that extant and it
shall be mandatory that the teachers appointed hereinafter i.e. 6th March
2012 to teach classes I to VIII in the Schools affiliated to the

                                CBSE shall qualify/pass the Central Teacher 
Eligibility Test or Teacher
Eligibility Test (TET), conducted by the appropriate Central/ State
Government in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for this
purpose.

                                

                                Please note that qualifying the CTET would not 
confer a right on any
person for recruitment/employment as it is only one of the eligibility
criteria for appointment.

                                

                                ELIGIBILITY:

                                

                                The candidates having the following minimum 
educational qualification
are eligible for appearing in CTET.

                                

                                Minimum Educational Qualifications for becoming 
Teacher for Classes I-V

                                (Primary Stage)

                                Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at 
least 50% marks and passed
or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by
whatever name known).

                                OR

                                Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at 
least 45% marks and passed
or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by
whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and
Procedure), Regulations, 2002.

                                OR

                                Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at 
least 50% marks and passed
or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education
(B.El.Ed).

                                OR

                                Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at 
least 50% marks and passed
or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special
Education)*.

                                OR

                                Graduation and passed or appearing in final 
year of two year Diploma in
Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

                                

                                Minimum Educational Qualification for becoming 
Teacher for Classes
VI-VIII

                                (Elementary Stage)

                                Graduation and passed or appearing in final 
year of 2-year Diploma in
Elementary

                                Education (by whatever name known).

                                OR

                                Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed 
or appearing in 1-year
Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

                                OR

                                Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed 
or appearing in 1-year
Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition
Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.

                                OR

                                Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at 
least 50% marks and passed
or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education
(B.El.Ed).

                                OR

                                Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at 
least 50% marks and passed
or appearing in final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed/B.Sc.Ed.

                                OR

                                Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed 
or appearing in 1-year
B.Ed. (Special Education)*.

                                Relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks in 
the minimum Educational
Qualification for eligibility shall be allowed to the candidates belonging
to reserved categories, such as SC/ST/OBC/Differently abled.

                                

                                Candidates can only apply On-line for CTET-SEPT 
2015.

                                Fee: SC/ST/Diff. Abled Person Only Paper – I or 
II Rs.300/-

                                

                                Both Paper – I & II: Rs.500/-

                                

                                Mode of Payment:

                                Remittance through E-Challan by depositing the 
prescribed fee in CTET
Exam Fee Account with Syndicate Bank or HDFC Bank.

                                

                                By Debit/Credit Card.

                                The candidates are NOT required to send hard 
copy of confirmation page
to CTET unit.

                                

                                However, the candidates are advised to retain 
the hard copy of the
application i.e. confirmation page, challan if fee is paid by e-challan,

        (i) M.A. and Ph.D. in any one of the following studies from a recognized
University: (a) Korean Language and Literature; (b) Korean
Language/Linguistics; (ii) Knowledge of Hanja and 8 years of teaching
experience in Korean language and literature at B.A. and M.A. Level.

        

        Specialization in Korean Literature; and contribution to innovative
teaching methods or production of teaching material is desirable.

        

        Centre for International Legal Studies

        

        LL.M. in International Law; Ph.D. in Public International Law from a
reputed University;

        Minimum 8 years teaching experience in International Law; Experience in
research supervision; Excellent publication record including articles in
reputed international law journals.

        

        Specialization in International Settlement of Disputes/International
Humanitarian Law is desirable.

        

        Zakir Husain Centre For Educational Studies

        

        (i) Masters Degree in any of the Social Sciences

        (ii) Ph.D in the relevant area

        (iii) Research specialization in Educational Studies;

        (iv) Evidence of interest in Multidisciplinary areas  of Education.

        

        

        3. Assistant Professor

        No. of post: 01 for Visually Impaired

        Scale of Pay: 15600-39100/- (PB-III) AGP Rs. 6000/-

        Qualification: 1. Good academic record with at least 55% marks or, an
equivalent grade of 'B' in the 7 point scale with letter grades O,A,B,C,D,E
and F at the Master’s Degree level, in a relevant subject from an Indian
University, or an equivalent degree from accredited foreign University.

        

        2. M.Phil and Ph.D. in the relevant field prescribed in appropriate 
cases,
a desirable or essential qualification. The minimum qualifications shall
not be relaxed even if a candidate has research degrees like M.Phil or
Ph.D.

        

        3. a) Qualification in the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Lecturers
conducted by the UGC, CSIR or a similar test accredited by the UGC
(disciplines in which NET is not conducted are exempted from this
condition).

        

        b) Candidates who have been awarded the Ph.D. degree in accordance with
the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award
of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement
of qualification in the NET.

        

        

        Assistant Professor in Cinema Studies OR Theatre  and Performance 
Studies

        

        (i) M.Phil/Ph.D. degree in Cinema Studies or Theatre and Performance
Studies; (ii) Research ublications; experience in teaching Cinema Studies
or Theatre and Performance Studies, courses and knowledge of the
discipline.

        

        

        Blindness or Low Vision – The blind are those who suffer from either of
the following conditions:

        (a) Total absence of sight;

        (b) Visual acuity not exceeding 6/60 or 20/200 (Snellen) in the better 
eye
with correcting lenses;

        (c) Limitation of the field of vision subtending an angle of 20 degrees 
or
worse

        

        

        Application form duly filled, in all respect by the candidate must be
supported by self-attested copies of all certificates, Mark Sheets,
evidence of teaching, research experience and M.A./M.Phil/Ph.D./NET
certificates, copies of reprints of published articles, certificate
containing the record of date of birth, etc.

        

        DOCUMENTS ENCLOSED WITH THE APPLICATION MUST BE SECURELY TAGGED IN
CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER TO AVOID LOSS IN HANDLING.

        

        

        The candidates applying under PWD Category are required to submit the
Disability Certificate issued by the competent authority in the format
prescribed by Government of India for this purpose.
