Hello friends, I don't have any knowledge to turn off monetor from the control pannel. but we can reduce the brightness by pressing fn key and F7 If I remember right. Right now, I am using DELL laptop and I am using Function Key + down arrow to reduce the brightness of the monitor. Here I am refering Function key that located between Control and windows key.
