[AI] JAWS Compatibility with WhatsApp

2023-02-18 Thread Vikas Kapoor
Folks,
The February version of JAWS 2023 appears to have been made almost
fully compatible with the desktop version of WhatsApp. They have
integrated the WhatsApp scripts in this version, where, you can set
JAWS to read the chat messages automatically and you'll also hear a
tick tick sound when the other person is typing. In short, I'm
completely reminded of the Skype messenger that used to work
fantastically at one point of time. You can read all JAWS shortcuts commands
by pressing JAWS+H while being in the WhatsApp window.

2023-02-18 Thread Yamuna Jivana dasa (Yogan)
Hi That’s good to learn.
Is it possible to get Whatsapp scripts for earlier versions of Jaws and to
install into those versions? I’m running Jaws 2020 and 2022.
Also would be interesting to check if someone has written addins for NVDA for
Whatsapp Desktop. I’ll have to check the Addins page. Just don’t have time
right now.

2023-02-25 Thread techsavi.shankar
Sameer, since there is no option to share the store link, recommending you to
download the app manually.

To download the app, do the following.

1. From the start search, type store and press enter.
2. Press ctrl e, and search for whatsapp, and press enter and tab to
results.
3. Next to filter options, you can see the app.

Note: install the stable app not the beta.
