my recommendation would be to change the audio driver specially if you are using the del laptop. disable the max audio and swich to realtech hd driver and see it works! If reinstalling/ reparing is not working, then what you can do is, you can check if there is any windows update. If update exists, then update the same. If your windows is up to date, then reset your PC. If it does not work, then you will have to format your windows. I would start first by checking the audio service; take help from a sighted person and ask them to play audio file to make sure that audio service is started and working.If you have setup Windows startup sound, it will not play as well if there is a problem with the audio. Hi Have jaws shortcut on your desktop. In case jaws doesn't start automatically, you can go to the desktop and start jaws from there. Having a unique first alphabet for the icon name will make it easier, for example, don't name any other icon starting with alphabet "j".
