tailored to individuals with blindness.
- Lead online and offline training sessions to impart knowledge and skills

- Collaborate on additional tasks as assigned by the organization,
contributing to the holistic objectives of Saksham.

Training and Skills:

- Conduct computer training, including keyboard and screen reader software

browsing, email management, and MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel,
PowerPoint).
- Provide problem-solving support for applications and NVDA settings, and
conduct phone training on accessible apps and communication tools.
- Additional responsibilities include assistive devices training, preparing
student case studies and monthly reports, providing sensitized training in
technology for mainstream schools, maintaining device records, managing
stock requirements, reporting to the Head of Department (HOD), and
assisting in events.

Experience and Qualifications:

section. Also, notice when they are conducting walk-ins. Some companies

Job Description: Outreach and Training Coordinator 

The passage of the Indian Copyright (Amendment) Act presents an exciting
opportunity to increase the availability of books for the visually impaired.
Two outreach/training coordinators are wanted to represent a joint project
of Bookshare, Saksham Trust, Worth Trust, and XRCVC. One person will work in
the North (based in Delhi) and one in the South (location flexible). The
specific regions will depend on the people hired.

Responsibilities:
.   Act as local representative in your assigned geographic area.
.   Conduct outreach to schools, colleges, universities, NGOs and
rehabilitation organizations serving the needs of the visually impaired,
mobility impaired and learning disabled.
.   Schedule and conduct face-to-face trainings on digital accessible
books and Bookshare.
.   Increase new Bookshare members and retain existing members by
assisting with registration and ongoing use.
.   Track metrics and report to Bookshare US on a weekly basis. Metrics
include number of contacts, number of new and renewing members, and number
of trainings.
.   Work closely with partner organizations in India to take advantage
of existing relationships and established strategies.
.   Track requests for content and contact publishers for electronic
files.
.   Conduct periodic focus groups and surveys of existing members.
.   Attend and present at conferences and seminars on disability.
.   Identify new marketing opportunities. 
.   Handle special projects and requests as needed.

Skills Required:

I was informed of an advertisement for jobs under South-Eastern Railway as a 
special drive for recruiting ph candidates in various posts. For details, visit
http://www.ser.indianrailways.gov.in/

The advertisement specifies certain categories of vision, such as A-2, B-1 and 
so on. I could not find out any explanation for these types of vision online. 
Can anyone thow some light on it? Actually, my friends can't apply for these 
posts unless they know the category they belong to in respect of vision.
