[AI] Learning a foreign language in Delhi

2017-12-10 Thread Rahul Bajaj
Hi Everyone,

I hope this message finds you well. I was wondering if any of you
could suggest any training centres in Delhi which impart foreign
language training and are accessible for persons with disabilities. By
accessible I mean they are open to working with the disabled student
to find ways in which the material being taught can be digested by a
disabled student.
I'm principally keen to learn French, but I'm open to exploring other
languages as well. This would only be as a hobby.

If you have learned any foreign language in Delhi and had a largely
positive experience, do let me know more about the
institution/instructors. Thank you.

Best,
Rahul

Hi Rahul, congratulations for your decission! Certainly, to learn a
foreign language bring you the opportunity to meet more people, to
travel, to get a better knowledge of culture from different countries.
I am not so confident in French, but by sure I can help in Spanish!
I advice you to have a look in Google. You can find several pages
where you will find exercises, audios, videos and more. Then, when you
have some approach, you will feel more confident to join a real class,
and share with other students. Maybe you could find also a partner,
who want to exchange with you some group work and assignments.
Warm regards, Beatriz.

 Hi Rahul,

I have been through this process but it was a long time ago.
 1. You would need a means of converting your textbook to electronic format.
 2. As for exams, take them on a computer. They may be less fussy than
 universities and schools.
 3. A portable OCR solution may help too for class exercises.
 4. Discuss how the class would be taught. I say this since language teachers
at times use gestures to convey their meaning. You may miss this
communication unless you have advised the staff in advance.

[AI] Learning a foreign language

2012-03-11 Thread Rahul Bajaj
Hi all,

I want to learn a foreign language like French or Spanish.
So, how can I learn a foreign language?

Normally, I believe that they teach you the ways of properly writing
such a language, but how would they be able to teach such a language
to me?
Some of them also conduct an exam after completing a particular unit,
so wouldn't it be very difficult, if not impossible, for me to find a
writer for writing such an exam?

Please do shed some light on this matter.

Cheers,
Rahul
