State Disabled Commissions, how sincere are these commissions are
because in the capital of India Delhi Disabled Commission is of no use
they themself accept that they do not have any power when one of my
friend working in Delhi Government had filed case in delhi disabled
commission there the office superintendent discouraged him saying that
this disabled commission does not have any power to punish the delhi
government officials so that official suggested my VH friend to
compramise with his colleague and adjust with them though they are
haressing my VH friend.

Re: [AI] Need attention on below matter on partiality of government in recruitment.

Dear Vaibhav,
The point that you have just high lighted is a matter of serious concern.
All categories of disability requires equal representation. What needs to be
done is proper identification of jobs considering the latest medical &
technical developments.
I just want to inform you that largest PSU Indian Railways says that VH
candidates are not suitable for technical jobs. I remember a sentence from an
RTI reply that said "since this is a technical post there is a no reservation
for candidates with VH disability. However i am not sure if this rule is still
followed by the railways.
Basically what you have high lighted is open discrimination amongst different
categories of disabilities and this needs to be challenged in appropriate High
Court.

Subject: [AI] Need attention on below matter on partiality of government in
  recruitment.

Hi All,

I want to draw your attention on the very important point . That could be
helpful for few those who are looking job in technical department under
government of india.   Since last few years I have been observed that HPCL,
IOCL, BPCL, BEL , ONGC  and more government companies are recruiting
candidates for technical and engineering department through GATE exam. They
are hiring person with disability but only OH and HH . They don't hires VH
not even Low vision . Why this is so ?. In their advertisement they do
mentioned clearly that  3% sits are reserved for person with disability .
But in details they are mentioning that only OH or HH candidates are
suitable .. means VH candidates are at all not suitable for these kind of
roles ..why these differences are ?  Those doing engineering and are
visually impaired what is their future of government companies are behaving
like this ...

Who has given rights to those organization for not to hire visual handicap
..

On what basis they are saying only HH and OH are suitable ..

They are not following the government order of hiring each and every
category of disabled equally ...

I want your suggestion on this ..
Attached is HPCL advertisement of hiring engineers on the basis of GATE
2017 but don't have openings for VH its happening since last few years
( my personal views since 2014 )

Is there any governing body who can answer on it .

Where can we ask our doubts on this ...

Looking forward for your genuine response...

Thanks
