we in association with Pinkathon, www.pinkathon.in are organising a marathon in Bangalore on February 22nd 2015. This is coming after our hugely successful similar marathons in Pune and Mumbai. . We are inviting female visually impaired and blind runners to participate with us to run alongside other marathon runners in the 3KM, 5Km and 10KM category. We will be taking care of all their registration costs, practise and logistical arrangements. All VI runners will be paired with and run alongside and assisted by professional sighted marathon runnners. This is a wonderful oppourtunity to get an equal playing field amongst ten thousand odd women from the main stream community. We will be most thankful if you could help spread the word amongst VI individuals and institutes working for VI students and adults.
