Hello everyone

Coming up with different IDEA

I have experienced something which made me more worried after making
Hangout group.kindly guide me whether i am on the right track or not.
I have observed that people are very worried about their jobs, business
growth and selling their professional service. These worries are stopping
them for social interactions. Hence, i am thinking to make a ‘promo’ group
under the same umbrella ‘hangout. The structure of the group would be:

1. A businessman can promote their businesses.
2. A job seeker showcase this/her talent
3. A professional can sell their services.
4. But no promotion is allowed by any employer and a client because there
are already so many platforms available for them. However, they must be a
part of thiscommunity because they are those who would support them.

I believe this group will help to a large extent. The beauty of this group
 that people without disability and people with disabilities would be a
part of the same community.
Please advise me whether i should create this group or not.i look forward
to hearing from you.

what is the benefit of having the members from the promo community in the
social hangout group?
don't you think that they would end up doing the same in both the community?
the reason that I don't join these social hangout groups is that the people
there usually would bring their business or mindlessly forward the life
advice which they do not and cannot follow themselves.
this happens in every group.
I support the idea of online meetings though because you get to speak with
people and that makes some sense.
only my opinion.

Hi Anirudh,
I respect your point of view. You are totally right and this was happening
in the group as well even though i had repetitively reminding them about
the purpose of creating the group. Moreover, a few set of people have
cropped up and started supporting irregularities in the group. They become
brand ambassador of those people who don’t follow rules and regulations.
However, in my case it does not matter what people think about me. I am
taking stringent action by removing them. Every rule is also applied on me
as well. This is the USP of Hangout group.
You can also verify my words or claim in your networking. I would request
you to join the group because you will more empower the community

About 15 years ago, there used to be a website called We The People where you 
could simply log in and chat with other visually impaired folks from all over 
the world mostly from the US. 

A few Access India members who are still on this list used to participate on 
that website and if you wanted to enter a private room, you could do that too 
and engage in a private conversation. 

No agenda was ever set during discussions and you could shoot the breeze ever 
which way.

The website subsequently disappeared owing to a lack of funding. 

You could try that on Google Meet and if the numbers get too large, we can 
definitely explore other online options down the road. 

I am not voting for either a Whatsapp group or a mailing list because they are 
mostly static and you can't hear people talking within the primary interface.

In any case, there are way too many Whatsapp groups floating around for just 
about everything.

I encourage Access India members to participate in this discussion, especially 
those who were active on www.we-the-people.com.

It does not hurt to try.

You have Absolutely echoed my thoughts ther There are so many WhatsApp groups and even if you joined them at the end of the day, the admin of the group thinks that the person is a founder of nation and they are governing the nations, governance and the aim of WhatsApp groups or not to create friendly environment but to create dictatorships and it gradually fizzles away.
