Hi Vidhya,
you wrote, Considering affordability is not an issue, could you please
recommend some of the available devices and where to buy them from?
If affordability is not an issue, I would recommend the Blaze ET by Hims
international.
you can google for its features, its an all in one fantastic device with all
the features you were asking for and much much more.
An advanced multi-player for books, music, documents, podcasts, recording,
DAISY and more! and also with OCR
I am using their previous avatar of this product viz, the BookSense XT for
the last 8 years and I still just love this all in one multi digital player
and recorder.
If I'm not mistaken, Sparsh products in Dehra Dun are the authorized dealers
of HIMS products , a South Korean company that make this Blaze ET digital
multi player and recorder.
If you are unable to get it through them, then try to get it through your
relative or friend coming down from the U.S.
You can google for HIMS international U.S
If my memory serves me right, this Blaze ET is for $800.
If in case u decide to go for it, also buy its protective case which will
protect it from falls, bumps etc.
also if u are interested in its OCR feature, then they also sell a OCR stand
separately which comes in very handy while performing OCR scanning etc.
There is another model called Blaze EZ, with less features. I would
recommend to stick with Blaze ET.
As I mentioned I have been using their BookSense XT for the last 8 years,
and now even I need to upgrade, so even I'm thinking of going for this Blaze
ET in the near future.
I will try to get it through some of my relative or friend coming down from
the U.S

Hope this helps,
regards, Rishi

Hi,

You may consider buying Evo E5 Daisy player which has good voice
recorder along with the features for reading Daisy and other document
files. The device has self voicing and is completely accessible. It is
available with Saksham for rupees 7500 + 5% GST.
