Hi I use gmail in standard view. Although I don’t know the commands or shortcuts to use gmail in standard view this is how I do Press t to go to the table of mails. Then after keeping focus on any of the mails select it by pressing enter or space bar. You can select how many ever mails you want. Using up arrow 5-6 times you will reach to the options archive,delete,move,report spam etc. To reply or forward a mail open the conversation and press n to go to the body of the mail and then use down arrow to the bottom of the body of mail to get the options reply and forward. When you press any of those buttons It will open like that in basic HTML view.
