Re: [AI] Request for Access India Group for Microsoft Power BI Training

2023-06-09 Thread harish kotian

Hi Anil

Glad to know about your interest and your passion to succeed in the area
of PowerBI.

When you break this down, it throws essentially 2 problem areas.
accessibility and application of BI.

On accessibility front, I guess, it should be reasonably accessible. The
members here could help you in for it.

On applying it to scenarios, I don't think we can help you nor do I
expect you  to have any expectation from your side.

All the best in your journey and of course a warm welcome to AccessIndia
family.

Harish.

dear access Indian
I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to inquire about the
possibility of access India Group for training on Microsoft Power BI.
I am particularly interested in finding a visually impaired trainer
who can provide guidance and support in learning this powerful data
visualization and business intelligence tool.
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is [Anil Bhandari], and I am a
visually impaired individual who is eager to enhance my skills in
Power BI. I have a deep interest in data analysis and visualization,
and I firmly believe that Power BI can empower me to effectively
interpret and present complex information.
I currently work as [associate trainee] at [vcreatek salution ]. In my
role, I frequently encounter situations where the ability to harness
the power of Power BI would greatly benefit my work. By gaining
expertise in Power BI, I aim to improve decision-making processes,
identify trends, and communicate insights more effectively within my
organization.
As a visually impaired individual, I understand the challenges that
can arise when accessing visual content. However, I am determined to
overcome these obstacles and develop my skills in Power BI. I believe
that with the assistance of an experienced trainer, who understands
the unique needs of visually impaired learners, I can overcome these
challenges and become proficient in Power BI.
I am aware of the importance of accessibility features, and I am
confident that Power BI provides such functionality. Nevertheless,
having direct guidance from a visually impaired trainer who can share
their expertise and insights would greatly enhance my learning
experience.
If there is a visually impaired trainer within the access India group
or if you have any resources or recommendations, I would be immensely
grateful for your assistance in connecting me with them.
Alternatively, if there are any upcoming training sessions, workshops,
or online communities focused on Power BI accessibility, I would
appreciate any information you could provide.
I am committed to dedicating the necessary time and effort to learn
Power BI and apply it effectively in my professional endeavors. Access
India Group would not only provide me with valuable learning
opportunities but also enable me to connect with like-minded
individuals who share a passion for data analysis and visualization.
Thank you for considering my request. I eagerly await your response
and any guidance you can provide. Please let me know if there are any
further steps or requirements I need to follow.
Looking forward to the opportunity to learn from the access
IndiansGroup and its members.
Sincerely,

Hi Anil,

Power BI tool is yet to become screen reader friendly. It is partially
accessible. I complete the accessibility audit for Microsoft products
through my employer. It will take some time to become accessible. I
had observed several challenges while testing power BI application
with visual parts.
