Hi All: IIT-Delhi will hold an event titled 'Open House' on Saturday to show innovative projects such as nanomaterial based water purification device, bad minton playing robots and a bus identification system for visually impaired persons*. *Some 100 laboratories at the institute will open their doors to the public, Dean (Research) at the Indian Institute of Technology Suneet Tuli said. Other projects to be exhibited at the one-day event include portable and low-cost device for early detection of infectious diseases, electrochemical reduction of carbon dioxide to fuel, Braille tutor device and a tactile interface to enable visually impaired people to read digital text.
