Re: [AI] need the software which replace the default notepad of windows.
Hello Raaju, I read a lot in notepad. I always write xxx where I leave it. I also put in yyy zzz or === as place markers. This is a clumsy process, but it works nicely. Otherwise, you have always the option to copy it on to a word document. Respected list, I have a huge collection of book pertaining to computer programming course, which is in .txt format, but I can't read those book with ease. cause whenever I suppose stop reading and shut down my computer, and whenever I turn on my computer again, I can't be able to remember where I have left before. And the default notepad doesn't allow us placing bookmark. In fact, notepad even doesn't remember where I have left before. So I wander is there any advance notepad or any such software which can solve such problem? If yes then please suggest me such software. Currently what I'm doing is that I am using kurzweil to open such text file. But again the problem is that the eloquence of kurzweil always doesn't read the programming expression correctly which is the most essential part, and I also don't think that kurzweil doesn't allow customizing the punctuation. Any good or bad reply will be highly appreciated. Clean India Campaign: Let us also chip in! Re: [AI] need the software which replace the default notepad of windows.
Hi Raju, Notepad plus plus is the best text editor. It has many features. It is design specially for writing computer programms. You can set the programming language and it automatically adjusts the deliminator, indents as well other format issues. The cursor remains at that spot where it was left previously. You can use it in linux or unix plateform too. Try to search it by typing notepad plus plus in google search. It is the best notepad application yet available. However, there are other text editors too. After notepad plus plus, akle edit is more user's friendly. Never use microsoft made notepad for programing documents.
