Re: [AI] Science Studies, Kartik's Achievement.
I have been knowing Kartik for more than 2 years now. And this is not just the reason to write this email here. It is another case where our education system needs to learn a lot from. While each one of us appreciates what Kartik has done, we should at the same time not forget that future should not be the same. We must keep trying hard like how Kartik is doing to change our domestic scenarios. Personally knowing Kartik, I know how much efforts he took to not only come up with shining academic record in his chosen stream, but he is also doing his best to change the outlook of our Indian institutes. Apart from this, it is a strong message to world at large that if you have got the zeal, support and dedication to do what you want to do, then nothing stops you from achieveing the same. I would be happy if some NGO could talk with Kartik and prepare something for those who are planning to give Science a try. So that when someone comes in future into this field, he has something as a guiding resource. And the history goes on. Regards, -- Amar Jain. My guess is that he would be also one of the first few blind student who have used computer in their classroom and home for studying all subjects right from class 1. His achievement will surely guide many others. His case study is also a proof of effectiveness of integrated education and the use of technology for reading and writing. Congrats Kartik, well done. You have faced many challenges in pursuing science studies till now and I am sure that you will easily overcome the hurdles that you will face in your chosen career path easily. -Original Message- From: AccessIndia [mailto:accessindia-boun...@accessindia.org.in] On Behalf Of Kartik Sawhney Sent: 31 March 2013 09:44 To: accessindia@accessindia.org.in Subject: Re: [AI] science studies Hi Srikanth, I'm on the MIT waitlist.
