Hi Friends, I heard somewhere that blind people are allowed to make use of public transport free of charge along with an assistant. Is this true?
I’m living in Vrindavan, and would like to come to Delhi to some of these accessibility demonstrations from time to time. >From my home in Pushpanjali Rukmini Bihar Vrindavan, how would I navigate to >the main transport line to take me to an actual venue in Delhi? Is this very >difficult? My sighted wife can accompany me but she’s afraid because both of us can only speak English, so to speak to people to say where we want to go if we get lost is very difficult. Plus, we are new in India and don’t have a clue about the geography. Will this be a significant challenge? If any one has any advice to share will be great. Thanks.
