Screen Reader: Jaws Virtual Ribbon Menu under JAWS settings center: Checked Detailed steps are listed below. 1.Invoke the office ribbon by pressing alt key and Navigate to the Mailings tab. 2.Press down arrow and navigate to the start mail merge submenu, expand the same by pressing right arrow, Jaws will again read out Start Mail merge Drop down button. 3.Press space bar to activate Start Mail merge Drop down and select “step by step mail merge wizard” using arrow keys. 4.You may alternatively use shortcut keystroke “alt followed by M S W” to access the “step by step mail merge wizard”. 5.Follow the wizard and browse the Excel file to link it to your word document. 6.Once file is linked to your word document, then you need to insert the desired fields in your document, for instance in your case its Customer Name, Address, date and amount. To add data fields to your document see the steps below. 7.Position your cursor on the data position in your letter, for instance, you may position the cursor on the place where date is to be inserted. 8.Navigate to the mailings tab, press down arrow to navigate to “write and insert fields Sub Menu” press right arrow to expand the same. 9.Navigate to insert merge fields Split button using arrow keys. 10. Now all column headers in your excel worksheet will be displayed over here. 11. Navigate in the list by pressing arrow keys and select the appropriate data fields, in this case select “date”. 12. Repeat Step Number 6 to 11 to insert other data fields as well. 13. Once all fields are inserted in the document, then you may complete the merge process by navigating to the Finish Sub menu located under the Mailings tab. in the excel sheet, create a collumn of due date with amount and write the date and amount according to the corresponding name. if you have the field already in excel then go to the main letter and at the time of inserting fields, go to the desired place where you would like to insert the field of amount and due date and insert it at that place. finally murge it and you will get the desired result. warm regards, Yogesh Chhabra On 10/22/14, Vamshi.
