Yes you can certainly delete them if you desire so, go to the properties of 
start menu, in the start menu tab itself, go to the customise start menu or 
press alt +C and then keep pressing the tab until you hear start menu clear 
button or again press alt +C and press the space bar and all commands in 
the run would be deleted.

Hi,
The run dialogbox can store only 26 commands.  as soon as you type the 27th
command, last command i.e. the very first command which you typed  will be
deleted automatically.  I don't think there is any way to delete these
commands manually.
