Hi, PC still does a better job at overall user experience. What I suggest: 1. Get a scanner with ADF i.e. HP Scanjet 2000, costs around 25k, comes with accessible scanning software. I have just bought it from my sister and quite amazed at its speed and accuracy. 2. Use ABBYY findreader for OCR and save the converted files to HTM / epub instead of docx, should solve Word's slowing down issue. HTH, Ajay On 29/08/2019, pratap bisht wrote: > You can try envision. Re: [AI] Mobile scanning stand recommendations and thoughts on ID Pro
Amar, I have heard good things about the fopydo scanning stand. See the following link for more information. http://fopydo.com/ As for which app to use, do remember that most of these OCR apps send the data to be recognized to the cloud. Are you sure that is ok? Check with id-pro. The developer is very responsive to user needs. I think seeing ai also does offline document recognition. I am not sure if it is only for short text or for documents as well. Re: [AI] Mobile scanning stand recommendations and thoughts on ID Pro
You can try Stand Scan. You can buy it through amazon.com I am using a metal stand purchased from Sparsh Products Dehra Dun. It is very useful to me. It is somewhat heavy. we can dismantle it. It comprises of 3 parts, bottom plate, connecting bar and upper plate which is suitable for placing all types of mobile phone. As it is heavy, we can keep it in one place. some what heavy to carrhy it every day. and it is somewhat costly nearly Rs. 2300 when I purchased 3 years ago. Thank you. B. Kannan Mobile +919444049216. Re: [AI] Mobile scanning stand recommendations and thoughts on ID Pro
Hi, Although Envision AI App is paid, It's worth the money if you like to purchase it. It is having all the features that you have mentioned above. Can Recognize hand written text also with almost good quality, read PDF, Extract text, OCR, a lots. In Document reading mode, it also gives you guidance regarding the visible edges of the document or the book, I and may be others also used it a lot when it was free, it's functionality and accuracy is really well and good. You may have a try at it. I don't know much about any particular stands or such kind for mobiles, I'm also looking for the same, hope others will focus on this topic more. Thank you.
