It is important to note that the paper I is the general or compulsory for all subjects with the subject code 00. The main objective is to assess the teaching and research capabilities of the candidates. Therefore, the test is aimed at assessing the teaching and general/research aptitude as Well as their awareness. They are expected to possess and exhibit cognitive abilities. Cognitive abilities include comprehension, analysis, evaluation, understanding the structure of arguments and deductive and inductive reasoning. The candidates are also expected to have a general awareness and knowledge of sources of information. Yet to be announced and possibly in second half of october it should come. But you know its utmost difficult to get JRF for a person with disability because only 3% JRF out of 3200 can be given to PH candidates, not more than that. Say for e.g. in sociology total jrf are 100 out of india then only 3 jrf are to be given to top rankers from this subject. thats why this time in various subject jrf marit has gone higher than general, obc and sc st candidates.
