It's very good initiative taken by windows I. It is priceless gift for us particularly for indians who can not spent heavy amount to purchase the screen reader due to it's high cost. - Original Message - From: Mukesh Sharma mrmukeshsha...@gmail.com To: Access India accessindia@accessindia.org.in Sent: Wednesday, January 15, 2014 1:09 AM Subject: Re: [AI] WindowEyes now free for Microsoft Office users A great step, game change from here. Re: [AI] WindowEyes now free for Microsoft Office users
The only dampner is that it needs to be used with either the default Microsoft TTS or eSpeak. If you want Eloquence or Vocalizer then you need to purchase them separately. The TTS on Windows 7 8 is pretty good. There are no licensing hassels, just download window eyes and if you have a valid office 2010 or above license, it will work in full version. -Original Message- From: AccessIndia [mailto:accessindia-boun...@accessindia.org.in] On Behalf Of Amiyo Biswas Sent: 15 January 2014 08:53 To: AccessIndia: a list for discussing accessibility and issuesconcerning the disabled. WindowEyes used to come with DecTalk didn't it? Does it come with this package as well? Or do we have to purchase that as well? If so, how much does it cost?
