Raju I was giving ways on how to resize an image for online application purpose. If you want to crop a freshly scanned image then scan it as a pdf file and select the image on the pdf file and copy to clipboard.(remember ctrl + c will not work in this case you have to use the application menu). Open paint and paste from clipboard a clean cropped image and save as jpeg. Guess I'm clear enough. mam! can we scan photos as a PDF file with the help of our OCR like kerzwiel, finereader or openbook? if yes how can we do? if not how can we scan photos inPDF format? please explain me mam! If you are unable to locate paint then it is in the drop down of accessories under all programs. Once you open your image with paint press alt and the focus is on home tab arrow down to image and right arrow to bring up the drop down and arrow down to resize and hit enter to open up a dialogue.In the following dialogue set the radio button to resize pixels and uncheck the check box for maintaining aspect ratio.type in the horizontal and vertical sizes as specified on the application and hit ok.
