I doubt if the FAQ will disappear on 3 September, even from the mit.edu site, but it will of course become outdated -- unless the work is carried on by another person or persons. The documents on expita.com are part of Mr Boyd's own website. I guess they will disappear quite soon. Get them now, while you can. They will remain but just not be undated. In fact, I've marked them as NOT MAINTAINED. I've also shut down the autoresponder so no files will be sent out. -- Gerry Boyd ~~~ ACCMAIL Info (automatically generated) ~~ To UNSUBscribe: Send UNSUBSCRIBE ACCMAIL to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To get the ACCMAIL FAQ: Send e-mail to "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" and enter only this line in the BODY of the note: send usenet/news.answers/internet-services/access-via-email ~

I heard something about this country, it seems. Yes, really. There talk in English. There eat these awful hot dogs. There Hollywood in which directors create a chic worthless remakes of low-cost excellent European films. else... O! In America the subject 'Equality of Human Rights without distinction as to race, sex, religion, or physical opportunities' is very actual! Yes, I the person with the limited physical opportunities! I am the invalid! I am the e-mail invalid as my mail uses UUCP protocol. Near five years I post in ACCMAIL though not too active. And when activity of mail admins cuts me from dialogue, it is very insulting, whether know. Probably, post mail admins AOL are a little bit limited in knowledge, there I with pleasure shall remind them - UUCP protocol have appeared earlier TCP/IP. It is one of the main reasons why UUCP host have no IP address. neften.samen.elektra.ru has no the IP address. In this case whence to get PTR? Hey people! Here break rights of e-mail invalids!!! Alexander, postmaster neften.samen.elektra.ru This rant has NO place on Accmail and should not have been posted. For some strange reason, Alexander believes that AOL should conform to some outdated technology like UUCP. AOL like almost everybody else has long ago moved forward.
Accmail FAQ
Accmailers, The time has come for me to turn over maintenance of the Accmail FAQ. I previously relinquished control of this mailing list so this is just another step. I've found that since my move to my new house that my pursuits have changed. I'm spending more and more time bicycling, hiking and touring so e-mail and Accmail methods are no longer important to me. It has been a wonderful and gratifying 8 years and I'll miss all the people that I've met through this list and my web site. So if anyone is interested in taking over the Accmail FAQ, please contact me off-list. I'm not going to maintain any of my web pages dedicated to e-mail and will add a note to them to so indicate. The only work that I'm currently maintaining is the "How to Turn Off HTML" web page. In addition, I'm going to turn off the autoresponder so no files will be returned by e-mail. The only address that will still work is my personal address. All the others ones will start returning a bounce message. This will affect the monthly reminder notice, so I' recommend that it also be changed. I'll still be a member of the list, but probably will remain silent...
