2013-09-10 Thread Arnd
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=324754

Bug ID: 324754
Summary: Bodega always server closes connection after first
http request
Classification: Unclassified
   Product: bodega
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: unspecified
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: critical
  Priority: NOR
 Component: Server
  Assignee: ase...@kde.org
  Reporter: kde-b...@hanamana.de
CC: active@kde.org, terie...@gmail.com

I have posted this first in the plasma active forum to make somebody aware,
that your server is not running. Over there I have been asked to put it here
together with more details. Here it goes:

No. SourceDestination Protocol Info
  1 10.0.0.5 78.47.60.181 TCP 40411 ov-nnm-websrv [SYN]
  2 78.47.60.181 10.0.0.5 TCP ov-nnm-websrv 40411 [SYN, ACK]
  3 10.0.0.5 78.47.60.181 TCP 40411 ov-nnm-websrv [ACK]
  4 10.0.0.5 78.47.60.181 HTTP GET
/bodega/v1/json/register/confirm?code=..
  5 78.47.60.181 10.0.0.5 TCP ov-nnm-websrv 40411 [FIN, ACK]
  6 10.0.0.5 78.47.60.181 TCP 40411 ov-nnm-websrv [ACK]
  7 10.0.0.5 78.47.60.181 TCP 40411 ov-nnm-websrv [FIN, ACK]
  9 78.47.60.181 10.0.0.5 TCP ov-nnm-websrv 40411 [ACK]

After recieving the http request the server ACKs with a FIN flag in No. 5,
which means that he closes the connection.

Is the server actually running? Actually listening on port 3443? Firewall?
Other users come through?

[Active] [Bug 324762] New: Weird behaviour of screen settings and non-settings

2013-09-10 Thread Arnd
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=324762

Bug ID: 324762
Summary: Weird behaviour of screen settings and non-settings
Classification: Unclassified
   Product: Active
   Version: PA 4
  Platform: unspecified
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: General
  Assignee: active@kde.org
  Reporter: kde-b...@hanamana.de

PA4 on WeTab
Settings - Screen

Example:
Brightness set to anything, 40% for example
Turn off screen after 2 min

After 60s brightness drops to 13%. This is not configurable. PA tells me about
this with an onscreen indicator, which is really usefull only for the purpose
of finding out details for this report. The indicator obscures exactly what I
am just reading, because after 60s I have just read 3/4 of the page.

After 90s (total) brightness drops to 0%. Says the indicator, which is still
visible though.

These 60s and 90s do not depend on the setting of Turn off the screen, they
are always the same and much too short for some use cases.

After 2min nothing happens. Should turn off screen, whatever that means.

I can partly confirm this. I have seen this behaviour, but not reproducible,
sometimes it works.

But:
Just selecting the Time and Date panel produces 20% CPU load permanently, fan
turns on (WeTab).
Scrolling in the list can increase this upto 100%. The list is very
unresponsive, especially the clear button.
Scrolling can change the behaviour of the filter.

That's probably a codec issue. Afaik Mer ships only Theora and no Flash, so I
suppose we're out of luck there...
